Silipos Plantar Fasciitis Arch Sleeve, Left

My husband has suffered from plantar fasciitis for several months, and we have been trying everything and anything to ease the pain. The first thing I bought was 3/4 compression sock. It worked quite well, but costs about $35.00 each. I bought several so he could wear a different one each day. They worked well, but he still had some pain. When I saw this sleeve, I decided to give it a try since it costs much less than the sock. My husband was delighted to find that this actually works better than the sock. He thinks it's because it is more targeted to the area and the compression is stronger. Happy to find something that works and is inexpensive.

I learned quite painfully the only real way to alleviate Plantar Fasciitis is arch support 24-7 until it clears up. Orthotic arch supports work fine but I just can't get used to wearing shoes in the house so I was trying all kinds of crazy things to pad my arch and still go without shoes. This offered the perfect solution for walking around the house with just socks. It works as it's supposed to do and provides instant relief. The main problem is that there is only ONE size and for me, it is quite tight! I use it when I need to but would be so much more comfortable if not so tight. I would give it five stars if it just came one size bigger. Others have complained of them being loose which I can't imagine but if they would come in two sizes, that would work out better for them as well. Otherwise I am very happy with this purchase- the soft gel conforms perfectly to my arch and provides the support needed. Be careful when ordering to get two if you need a pair, otherwise you will only get one.

it helps a little cushions my step but doesn't help with the pain . It doesn't stay cold for more then a few minutes when you freeze it

Oh. Wow! I've been gimping around for about a month or so with a painful plantar faciitis in my left foot. Couldn't seem to get it healed for anything and it was always more painful after I'd been sitting down for any length of time or when I got up in the morning. I. LOVE. THIS. PRODUCT! It hasn't completely healed my foot, I'll tell you that, but the pain levels have gone from a 6 on the 10-scale to about a 2. I'm going to buy a couple more to have on hand in case this one gets lost or ruined somehow. Definitely a recommend!!

uncomfortable. does not stay in place

I got this because my podiatrist wanted me to get an arch brace for my plantar fasciitis. They are okay, but not the relief I hoped for. I wear them with sandals ( nice look but I am over 60 so who cares) and they mostly stay in place and provide support for my very high arches.

Slides easily on the foot -- you have to buy one for each foot and each one is marked. Stocking area is like heavy tights (or light Danskin for those who remember those from the 70's) Nude color which blends in easily enough if you are Caucasian and want to go sockless. Socks would easily slide over the item. Takes up less space in shoes than inserts -- which sometimes work, sometimes don't; so this is a nice options for shoes with poor arch structure. Can wear with sandals too since they blend in well enough.I imagine they might need to be replaced every 3 months or so depending on mileage due to sock wearing out -- not sure about durability of arch wedge. Allows you to walk barefoot in house but be careful, some traction of foot is lost due to slippery nature of sleeve -- just slow down a bit. Comes with instruction pamphlet written in 4 languages, including English. Per instructions: hand washable & air dry. Has company contact information with toll free number. I will post update later to comment on durability and pain relief.

I have had this sleeve since Oct 2nd and cannot believe the relief it has given me. It is not a cure but it has lessened my pain a great deal.Sometimes I need to adjust it if I'm walking or on my feet a lot. It has helped my pain better than the old orthotics I had made many years ago when I had this problem before.I would definitely recommend them!
