Intuitive Tarot: 31 Days to Learn to Read Tarot Cards and Develop Your Intuition

I'm a longtime listener and fan of Brigit's podcast so when I saw her book I knew I needed it in my Tarot book collection. Brigit's method of reading Tarot is a welcome relief to most others. I was so frustrated with the "traditional" way of reading, which requires memorizing cards and their meanings. I much prefer reading intuitively and this was just the book I needed. I wasn't even sure if I was "doing right". I mean, weren't we all supposed to sit and study each and every card meaning? How tedious! So yay... Brigit to the rescue. My Tarot reading methods have already greatly improved since I've been reading this book. Learning intuitive reading in just 31 days (it didn't even take me 31 days it was so simple) describes this book. I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone who's looking for a simpler, yet extremely accurate, way to read the Tarot. Whether you're an experienced Tarot card reader or someone who's just getting into Tarot I can highly recommend this book.

I am writing my own Channeled Tarot Book. I was going to get it published, but now I’m planning to just give it to my children. But, since I don’t know if it will be done before I pass, I decided to give them each a copy of this wonderful book I found from a very talented author! I believe that her meanings are very similar to those I received or channeled from spirit. I have taught Tarot professionally for over fifty years, so, I know their accuracy as I also use them in my readings for others. I think my children and others could definitely learn a lot from this amazing book and use it to do sessions for themselves and hopefully others in their life. I will be also leaving them behind my meanings.

I have always resorted to my intuition to read the cards, and this book is a great way to enhance that. It isnt difficult at all. And any intuitive reader will find this book useful to expand their skills as a tarot reader. Absolutely recommend! 👍

It’s a great overview of what to expect and get from your tarot journey. I loved the real life example and fictional ones as with cards to help relate and increase my understanding of her point. I gave it 4 stars because I was expecting to get a little more info on the major arcana and possibly more contextual meaning of cards in regards to career, love relationship etc. Overall it was a great read and I learned a lot of quick tips without all the wordiness. I’m going to buy the ultimate guide to tarot readings to get more info on the card meanings.

I really love this book so far, I'm not even half way in and I feel so much more confident and comfortable reading tarot already. My only complaint is that I wish the introduction to the minor arcana numerology and court sections came before the in depth about the suits, but that's really just personal preference and there's nothing saying you can't skip ahead :) It helped to re-read the suit chapters after the court/numerology sections bc it helped think about each card in relation to the suit, not try to memorize the seemingly random cards and then learning the pattern. But that's just me being picky, I really really like this book, and would definitely recommend it!

I just started this book but I really enjoy it. I enjoy all Brigit Esselmonts content. It’s been very helpful to modernize the way to look at tarot. I saw someone post that everyday tarot is repetitive and I can see how they give similar advice, but this book gives more of connecting with your deck and using the deck in connection with your intuition. (Obviously) lol

Great purchase! I’m new to learning tarot and I love this book! The author provides great guidance to getting started! Does not provide full tarot card meanings, but does provide keywords/phrases to learning the cards, learning tarot numerology, tips on creating court card profiles, guidance to learning the major and minor arcana, and provides valuable steps to improving your intuition! I love the daily exercises as well! I am waiting on my copy on her Ultimate Guide to Tarot Card Meanings! Can’t wait to learn more!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I’m about half way through this book and it’s already helped me read tarot more intuitively then the other 5 books I’ve read on Tarot COMBINED! Brigit give AMAZING advice on how to interpret the cards your own way and great activities after each lesson to strengthen your bond with your deck!! Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone looking to deepen their connection with Tarot and read more intuitively!!

This is a great way to learn to read Tarot. It removes the nonsense and focuses on developing your own investigative and interpretive skills. Just because tradition dictates that a card always means 'such-and-such' is flawed reasoning. Brigit's book (which is easy to use and follow) teaches you to figure out the context and meaning for yourself. The imagery on the cards is always the same, but the meaning is determined by its association with other cards in response to the question(s) asked. Buy the book! You won't be disappointed.

Best book I have ever had for Tarot. Simple language, easy to understand and apply immediately. Fascinating with activities checklist - perfect for self learning

First off, for the price, the paper quality is pretty poor, particularly the cover, which on my copy is curling up after a couple of days use. The information in the book is reasonably good and useful, though if you have previous tarot experience you will almost certainly have come across most of the techniques and information before in other sources. Every tarot book will of course reflect the author's own experience and personal take on the subject and generally I do like Brigit Esselmont's approach and have a couple of her books on the shelf. In this one there is an error early on regarding the history of the tarot and later a mention of the use of binaural beats when doing a reading, without stating that headphones are required for binaural beats, which rules this out if reading for another person. Errors like this should really not have slipped through. The thing that really annoys me though is the blatant self-promotion throughout the book. There are links and references to her web site and training courses throughout the text and I personally felt that I had paid my money for her to advertise her services to me. In fairness, her web site is pretty good but the links would have been better in an appendix rather than interrupting the text. I personally found this so annoying that this is not a book I will keep for reference.

Great book on tarot. Lots of little exercises to practice and learn tarot. Highly recommend this book.

Wow. I have read many books on reading tarot, attended workshop's but never could remember meanings, spread's or see anything in the rider Waite tarot. Then I came across the Angel tarot cards and fell in love the pictures would draw me in finding different details every time I looked at them but I knew I had more to learn about reading these tarot cards. I came across this book it took me 2 days to read lots of information and exercises to do. I have started to do the exercises and they really work I am learning a lot more and I am definitely going to do all of the exercises in this book. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn tarot. And learning to read tarot intuitively really makes your cards feel apart of you. Also you are not forced to read Rider Waite Tarot you can use whatever tarot deck resonates with you.
