MUST HAVE for running, hiking, biking, walking or shopping hands free with your mutt! Perfect for our big Labradoodle!
I'm going to keep this short and sweet. If you run, hike or bike with your dog on a regular basis, you NEED this leash in your life!!! It is the absolute best! My 3 y/o 80lb labradoodle is a very very active boy and likes to go everywhere we go. If he doesn't go running at least once a day (3-5 miles!) he isn't happy. Since it's hard to keep up with his exercise needs with my own two legs, I wanted a leash that would allow me to ride my bike as well and this is great for that! Being hands free is amazing. Here's what I love about this leash:- EASY TO ADJUST: The waist strap will fit anyone and is easy to adjust to any size. That means my husband and I can both use it without having to spend 20 minutes re-fitting it to the user. It literally takes seconds.- QUALITY: The materials are really durable and strong. This thing isn't going to fall apart!- DESIGN: I love that it's got a section of bungee to help absorb shock if my big guy suddenly decides to go in a different direction (to say hi to another dog). I love that it has two handles that are easy to grab in the event that you need to keep your pooch at your side or pull him out of harms way. One is up by the waist strap and one is down by the collar connection. I love that my dog can run around me or change sides mid run without getting tangled up! The attachment at the waist is designed so it can slide around your body easily. I love the length of the leash. It's perfect for running, hiking or biking. Keeps your pup close enough but not so close that you trip over each other. It has reflective material on it which is great for our early mornings before the sun comes up!I rarely give 5 stars, and truth be told, I think this deserves 4.75 stars. The only thing I think that could be better is if it had a more comfortable waist strap, made of softer material, however the one it has hasn't been UN-comfortable at all so I won't dock any stars. Taking my dog out for activities (or even shopping at home depot) hands free has been a WONDERFUL experience! I really really love this leash! Pair it with a good harness like I did and you and your pooch will both be happy. My only warning would be for those who have big dogs that don't walk on a leash well. If you've got a big dog who runs and pulls on the leash a lot, this might not be a fun experience for you, but if your dog is a good walker/runner, it's a great fit! I hope this helps someone else. I did NOT receive this for free or at a discount.

Great Leash
I have a 60-lb mix and this has been one of the best purchases I've made as far as leashes and such for him. I purchased this several months ago and while I do have to readjust the strap for me every once in a while, it's mostly been a secure fit and has held up to multiple every day uses. It works well with his no-pull harness and I have no issues with control or having him pull me. The elastic has also held up and is a nice feature to add some forgiveness for my dog when I stop suddenly or when he gets distracted momentarily.

You can't go wrong with this leash!
This is a GREAT leash. The bungee part is great at absorbing "shocks" from overly rambunctious and excited puppy antics, or the "we're walking" yank you exert on said puppy who is engrossed in whatever particular sniffing task he fancies at the moment.Pros: I didn't think I needed this, but I'm really glad I got it! The leash is easy to use and comfortable; hands-free option is awesome, so you can keep your hands warm and your arms un-yanked, dog seems to have adjusted quickly to bungee aspect and is more responsive (the number of times the bungee has been fully extended during a walk has drastically reduced).Mini-Cons: Leash was longer than I expected, though the length is good for allowing my pup to walk far enough in front of me so I won't "flat-tire" him; if you are slim-waisted and need to cynch the belt fairly tightly, the leash attachment has less of the "single-ply" portion of the leash to run along. The leash attaches to the portion of the waistbelt part between the buckle and the sliding tightening thingie. The leash connecter hook thing does not fit past either, so if you are expecting the leash to be able to swivel around your whole body, that will not be the case. I have my belt set to about 32" and so the leash attachment has basically my front to slide back and forth across. There is also no "fixed" place to make the leash slider attach, though you could easily tie a knot in it. Finally, it's winter now, so I have the waistbelt thing go over a few layers (shirts, sweatshirts) and under my coat. As such, the fabric creates enough padding so that the yanking around the waist isn't a big deal (took a bit getting used to), but I'm not sure how it'll feel once it's summer and I'm wearing fewer layers of "padding". Ditto for running gear. If you have abs of steel, this might be fine for you, or if you can find a way to stabilize it with your hip bones so it doesn't dig into your kidneys, that would be good. However, I don't think that's an issue with this particular leash - the same would be true of any leash attached to a waistbelt. If you are trying to decide between this leash and the Hertzko Hands-Free Leash available here on Amazon, there are a few differences you might take into account: They are similarly constructed, the Hertzko leash is slightly shorter, but the Tuff Mutt leash has that extra handle close to the waist. also, the Tuff Mutt leash "top" is just a D-ring (the hook is attached to the waist, meaning you could theoretically use another leash, or perhaps attach a carabiner to the waist to replace the hook if it ever broke - that could probably swivel all the way around the waist, so a potential work-around for narrow-waisted types), so it's not awkward to just use the leash portion; the Hertzko leash portion has hooks on both ends, and d-rings on the waistbelt (one fixed, one that slides). I also think the Tuff Mutt leash seems a little more "heavy duty" than the Hertzko one, but not by much.Overall, this is an excellent leash, and a must for anyone who walks a dog (or dogs?) regularly - it's nice to not feel like your arm is being torn out of your socket. The bungee part is awesome because it's sort of shock-absorbent, and the convenience of sticking your hands in your warm pockets while walking is unbeatable. This leash has some better "features" than the Hertzko leash, in my opinion, but the one you pick depends on your budget and design aesthetics. Basically, you can't go wrong with this leash!

A hands-free leash that really works
I never give 5 stars, but I’m tempted. The carabiner and swiveling clip setup allows my dog to walk 360 around me , which works well for us. Everything looks sturdy - I don’t see any materials that look like they’re going to fall apart anytime soon. It might be a little long for some folks, but the 2 handles are well placed for control in sidewalk/traffic situations

Love!
Awesome leash! I had gotten the more expensive Ruff Wear one before but this one perfectly meets my expectations. I like that you can detach the bungee from the waist loop as I'm now pregnant and don't want the pulling around my waist

Lifesaver for my arm and shoulder!
I wish I had this sooner! It has saved my arm and shoulder from being pulled by a 50lbs dog. It’s constructed really well and is very secure. It comfortable and I love that I have both hands free. Would definitely buy agin.

Great Purchase!!
Worth the money!! This is the second one I have purchased and its worth every penny. I love to that I can secure it to my waist and its adjustable. You're able to walk hands free or hold the handle for a sense of security. What's also great we all sometimes drop the leash but no worries because your fur baby will be attached to you.
