Payroll Accounting 2014 (with Computerized Payroll Accounting Software CD-ROM)

I am finding my book easy to understand and practical in use. I see why my teacher chose it for our class.

This accounting book is so much better than the last one my school used! It explains and shows you how to do each step along with practice exercises along the way to test your knowledge. Debbie

The book is as described, and arrived on time. If you are renting or intend to use the trade-in on this book, be aware that the pages are perforated (so that you can fill in the homework and turn the pages in). Of course, you can't trade it in if you remove pages, and if you are renting and return it with pages missing, you'll be charged full price - so do the homework on your own paper, and be careful handling the book, as it's pretty easy to accidentally tear out pages.

I ordered this book "New" because I needed the CD-ROM for my classes final project. All I received was a textbook without a CD-ROM, so I overpaid for a textbook that I had a copy of already. TL;DR Order "New" Didn't get CD-ROM

Great to get what I was expecting and having to pay less than what others were wanting.This is worth looking around and researching for to save some money. Thanks.

I like this book. It contains a lot of information about payroll. I really learned a lot from it.

I wish I had read all the reviews, and more thoroughly. I love Amazon and have been very satisfied with a variety of purchases. Having to attend summer school for the first time, paying out of pocket, I wanted to find the most economical textbook purchase. This is the book that I needed, and I was excited that it was $10 cheaper than the local college textbook store! However, even though I read what I was getting, I assumed that the 'computerized software' meant what I would need for class, it is NOT what is needed. The Cengage code does not come with this book and ALL the work is online in Cengage from classwork to homework to the final project. To purchase the code alone is an additional $116! Again, the book AND code is only $10 more at my local textbook store than what I paid for just the book. So much for trying to be on top of my game by saving money AND receiving my book before classes even began~

All pages of this book are perforated and they tear out extremely easy. Otherwise, item came quickly, and was in the correct condition.

I don't understand why the pages are perforated, they just fall out. I also don't think this quite expensive book needs to be released every year. Nothing unusual with textbooks, but I think you guys will find out that you can't overprice an items and survive forever.
