You would have to try it so you can see if you like the look. Aleene's Fabric Stiffener & Draping Liquid is a soaking application and Stiffen Quik is applied with a spray pump. The second difference is that Aleene's Fabric Stiffener & Draping Liquid contains two polymers (two glues) and Aleene's Stiffen Quik contains one polymer (one glue). Stiffen Quik penetrates into fabric or other porous surfaces better than Fabric Stiffener.
