Challenge to install without proper tools.
Works to lower extended shock length which lowers bike. Not difficult to install with the proper tools. Impossible otherwise. I had to build a special compression tool to compress shock to install. Building the tool took far longer than actually installing the ring. Without the tool the only other way to install is dismantling the shock, draining oil, loosing nitrogen charge. Used in conjunction with a lowering link installed and modified seat for 3+ inches drop in seat height. Works well.
