Review: Great keyboard - I was hesitant to buy this with the high price tag but I'm glad I did. The RGB system is great and the app is easy to use, if you can green, red, yellow whatever colour, the keyboard will show it. Its got a nice clicky sound to it and the keys feel good. The top right button is very useful for quickly turning your volume down and much more. Great keyboard and would recommend.

Macro keys come in very handy for a multitude of different games and the illuminated keys and different effects are a nice touch if you take the time to play with them. Had a little 'dashboard' top right with a button and scroll wheel which lets you control different illumination profiles and recorded macros as well as the brightness and light timeout settings for the keyboard.

**Q: Can it run Doom?**
A: The wondering of running DooM on this keyboard is pure stupidity. Of course this keyboard can run DooM. It will run it at a blissful 2.8fps too. The only problem you will likely encounter, as I did when I tried to run DooM on this keyboard, is that the guy in 10 Downing Street wasn't happy such a feat was being explored and so he offered me the cure to covid. I said no of course because I'm like the star character of Skyrim. Hard as hell and full of magic.

If you ever get offered the key to Mario's cart from Mario Kart, I suggest you decline if you would like to be in a shot of running DooM on this Apex 7 Keyboard.

**Q: why it shows platform:ps4?**
A: Ignore, probably mistake. It is a PC gaming keyboard, but as USB would work on ps4 anyway.

**Q: Can individual keys' backlights be turned off?**
A: Yes, but you need to download the steelseries program from their website to do it

**Q: Can this be used as a wireless keyboard?**
A: It's a wired keyboard with a long thick cable. Unless you want to use some form of wireless USB transmitter/receiver, but there is no point because the cable is long and thick already so you won't hide it/it might be annoying. Plus the possible delay could have an impact

Ye the build quality is nice and everything, although I thought it had the omnipoint switches that still didn’t change my opinion on this keyboard, I recommend you get it if you haven’t already.
