I'm using this for sipping my morning hot tea, which is a wonderful herbal blend. I look at the patterns made by the powdered herbs before stirring and blending them. I love this bowl.

What you see advertised on line is what you get. There does not appear to be any coating at all on the copper. We washed this good before use (we use it overnight in a large glass water jar to "condition" the water - Ayurvedic technique we recently learned about from some trusted friends), and after washing and air drying it has tell-tale water marks I'd expect on pure copper. Other than the underside, it was polished very nicely. On the underside it was not polished, and there were some slightly blackened spots at the crease around the base, but that's also not unusual for pure copper. Other reviews that complained about black spots likely aren't familiar with copper. In short, this is exactly as advertised, and exactly what we wanted.

I use this every day. Makes food taste good. Better than stainless on the tongue. Soft mouthfeel. Its amazing. This spoon is very pure. Its super easy to bend.

I expected it to be heavier.

It is very heavy duty made. It won't bend. Superior quality spoon. Love it.

Nice, copper, thin spoon of normal size.
