Idaho Mountain Wildflowers: A Photographic Compendium, 3rd ed. Paperback – August 23, 2012

Got this for my Mom for her birthday and she loves it! She takes pictures on her hikes and IDs the flowers at home. The pictures and descriptions are perfect.

Wonderful guide! Wife constantly references it after we take a hike... uses her iPhone to take pictures of the different plants and matches them up!

We have a cabin in the Idaho mountains, so I've developed an obsession with the beautiful wildflowers we see on every hike. This book is beautifully illustrated. I also enjoy the way that it's organized because part of the fun is finding the flower quickly on the trail. A gorgeous addition to our library.

Beautiful! I bought this for my mom for an upcoming move to Idaho and it is a really great and informative book. The pictures are spectacular and we spent hours upon hours going through it! Great for a gardener or someone who enjoys the outdoors to become familiar with the plants around them.

It's a great book. I'm still finding wildflowers that are not included in the book. Maybe the author will print a sequel?

Beautiful pictures and great information. The only thing that could be an improvement is if the plants were sorted by color. When trying to identify plants that you haven't seen before, you have to look through each page until you find the right one. Still, it is a great book!

My great-aunt is a naturalist in southeast Idaho. She feels that this book does not give enough coverage to the southeastern mountains. She still enjoys the book.

The book is in good condition.
