What Is the Story of Doctor Who?

What a great read! I bought this book for my 10 year old son for Christmas. He absolutely loves Doctor Who and so do I. I grew up watching it with my dad starting with the fourth doctor (Tom Baker) and through my life have seen every episode and special ever created. Between my son and I, we own tons of books, comics, mags, DVDs and even some VHS about Doctor Who. I have always considered myself somewhat of an expert on the subject, but reading this book filled me with information that I had never known! My son and I have both read this book several times, cover to cover. The illustrations are beautiful and detailed. What I assumed was just a children's book has now enriched my knowledge and grown an even stronger bond between my son and I for the shared love of this brilliant show!

Seems to be what my Dr Who fan enjoyed

As a fan pf the show, and a American at that, this book seems almost like a kids book with more focus on the Eccleston era on than on the time of Hartnell to McCoy.

É um livro curto, se pegar para ler dá para ler numa tarde. Traz uma cronologia com leves curiosidades sobre a série, desde os primórdios em 1963 e já está atualizada com a fase Jodie Whitaker. Ainda que um livro rápido de ler, vale a pena ter na prateleira. As ilustrações, em preto e branco, são muito bem feitas e enriquecem o conteúdo do livro.
