Q: I have a wooden dowel with a diameter of 1.25”. Which size cap should I order?

These caps are meant for standard sized PVC so we can't confirm that they will work for your application. But if you want to take the risk, and your measurement is accurate, you could give the 1 inch cap a try. 1 inch pipe has an outer diameter of 1.315", so the cap may just fit.

Q: What are the dimensions for this part? I need to the hole locations, size, height of part, etc. Is there a spec drawing available?

The height of the fitting is 1.3” with a socket depth of 1.25”. The hole to hole distance is 3" and the hole diameter is 1/4". Each tab protrudes by 0.75". The outer diameter of the fitting is 2.75". I hope this is sufficient. Unfortunately we do not have an official drawing of the part.

Hi. 2 inch pipe has an outer diameter of around 2.375 inches. The inner diameter of these caps will be slightly larger in order to fit.

Q: Will five of these support a 24 x 96 x 1/2 sheet of plywood (+ food)? Thanksgiving Tables: 5 legs on each table (2 legs each end, 1 in the middle).

I'm not a engineer but I would do six two at 2 1/2 to 3 feet In on the middle that would change weight distribution hope this helps
