No, there is no need for a sealing stick, the food bag can be sealed by itself. I see that other stores need sealing rods to help, but this xomoo can be completely sealed without it, which is great.

How about this food bag seal?

This food bag is very well sealed. It is gently slipped by hand and the seal is sealed. Even if it is filled with liquid, it will not leak easily. I bought the other Amazon 8 pack, they all have bad reviews. The seal can't be completely sealed, can not be used.

What are the advantages of xomoo food silicone bags over Stasher food silicone bags?

The price. They are much more affordable. I’ve never owned stashed bags, but they have a reputation of sealing very well. These bags seal, but sometimes they unseal on their own, especially in the freezer. I just don’t used them for freezing anymore.
