Perfect pan. Looks great and does the job

Lodge really ducked this pan up. It's ducked. If I cooked in it I would cook duck and say something like 'Duck it!' if I burned it.It's a cast iron pan with a pattern on the external base - it cooks as good as any normal Lodge (so good).What the duck, buy one if you want and be a ducker.

Happy with the bigger Lodge cast iron we purchased but were very disappointed to find a fault with the smaller pan.We've spent hours trying to reseal the pan along with the exposed section but to no avail. We've trusted the Lodge brand for many years so this was disappointing and makes us second think our hopes of adding to our collection.

As others pointed out, some of us that ordered these were “lucky” enough to get the rejects of the bunch.Mine came with exposed metal and a bit of rust, probably returned by another customer.Such a shame, I had read many good things about Lodge.Not sure if they’re the ones directly selling these defective items or some third party that thought it would make a quick buck but hope someone from Lodge reads our reviews and does something about it as it is hurting their brand.

Extremely disappointed at Lodge for these pans. I was advised this was a brand you could trust, so was initially happy to wait the month required for these to arrive. Upon opening the box, both pans were wrapped well but as soon as I took this off, I could see that both pans were damaged. Neither of the rims are finished nicely - both have a good few inches of pan where there seems to be some kind of indent, and in the indent they are both chipped. Scratches on the base of the pans not pictured, but you can see that the edges of both pans are damaged - I cannot see that it was possible for this to have happened in transit. I now need to return the pans to America before my refund can be processed. I will never buy this brand again.

Ordered the whole wildlife series and every single one of them (6 in total) arrived defective with cut edges and rust. Lodge is usually a good quality brand so I believe these are rejects that they are selling, maybe specifically for international orders which are hard to return. Terrible. So much money and this is what you get for it.
