Good tool to make salads
It has three settings for slice sizes. Be careful when using esp when veggies become small in size as the blade is v sharp. Always reset to 0 setting and store to avoid accidentally cutting one’s fingers. Gifted to all my staff on Diwali. - they loved it. Its is reasonably priced, some might say its expensive but I found it value for money. Love cutting even sized oinion rings

Really good, genuine ikea
Really good, blades are super sharp, plastic is good. Most of all its genuine ikea. If you are looking to buy a mandoline, look no further

Disappointing thickness control
The main issue is that Levels 1 and 3 produce slices of visually identical thickness, which renders the multiple-setting feature ineffective for varied cuts. Despite a decent build, this functional flaw is a major drawback.

Excellent mandoline with adjustable settings
Uniform slicing, handy holder to avoid finger cuts, adjustable settings to slice with different thickness. Very sharp and convenient to use. The reverse side has a rotating knob to reduce or increase thickness of the slices.
