We got my son a watermat last year and he lost/destroyed the pens that came with that mat. We ordered these new ones and he loves them. He is now starting to learn to at least draw/scribble on the mats (v. just biting on the top of the pen and sucking out the water). Whenever he sees the pen on the table (we keep it out of his reach), he wants us to fill with water so he can play. He would take the pen and then go open his watermat to do his doodle. It is a great way for me to get some rest while he playing by himself.

Must buy My kids love these!!! (Ages 2-9) I buy these an the books and mats often! They occasionally lose the markers tops so I have to buy often but it's worth it cuz there's no mess an it keeps an busy haha

The one with the retractable cover is okay. The brush doesn't hold its shape for long. The toddlers like to press hard which causes the brush to fan out. Would like the water pens having caps and that the caps can be affixed on the opposite end of the pens for safekeeping.

Great for replacing my young children's water pens. They are rough on toys and permanently fray out the ends of their older water pens. These are a perfect replacement. Even if they don't fray them, they often lose them as well.

Great value for the money paid. My nephew loved this present and it kept him entertained I’d recommend buying an extra pack of markers cause toddlers lose everything. Easy clean up.

I needed extra doodle pens after another brand proved to be useless. These work well and the water comes out smoothly for drawing.
