Seemed a little small!!! And some of the patterns did not match up with the buffalo check, so I bought 2 sets, and use only the ones where the check patterns seem to line up. Other than that, they look great on my table. Love the look of the buffalo check! I was excited about the fact that they were reversible. But once I got them here, I was not in love with the burlap side. It looks kinda cheap compared to the rest of the placemat. So, I just won’t use that side more than likely. But nonetheless, I’m very glad I bought them!!

The description says these are reversible. Well, OK I guess you can turn them over, but you're clearly looking at the unfinished back side with folds, seams, ragged edges, etc. In reality these are for single sided use only. Fabric is soft traditional flannel that has a nice feel and look to it, but I can't imagine that they'll be easy to keep clean on the table. And the washing instructions are for hand wash, so I guess I'm glad that these will be exclusively for holiday use.UPDATE: washed these on delicate/cold cycle in washing machine then tumbled dry on delicate/low setting. Turned out very well with no puckering, picking or discernible fading.

Don't waste your money on this set. Horrible quality. The pattern runs crooked on the mats, and threads are visible and uneven. They're dinky-small too, must be kid sized mats. So, search continues for decent place-mats....

Definitely not the best quality. Strings every where on them that had to be cut off. That's just sloppy workmanship. Advice to anyone who gets these...DO NOT DRY IN CLOTHES DRYER! I didn't but feel like if I had, even on a low setting, they would have shrunk and/or fallen apart.

This was inexpensive enough and was delivered quick. It kept my new dining table from being scratched during Thanksgiving and still allowed me to show off my new table during Thanksgiving. The berlap is cute, but it is berlap and does not clean that well due to the fibers.

These placemats look great in my newly decorated buffalo plaid kitchen. I haven’t tried to wash them or anything yet, so I don’t know how well they will hold up. But for now,they look great. They are made of material - so if you have food that is hot or messy, you might need to put something under them.

I bought two sets of placemats and a table runner- all were stitched crooked. Threads not clipped. They cannot be reversible if the stitching is not lined up with the fabric design. I’m sending back. I do love the fabrics used, but they all look like a five year old made these on craft day.

They seemed very small, unevenly proportioned. The border want as straight as I would have liked. Not horrible, just not the clean look I was going for. And the fabric makes them harder to clean. If you have them set out and covered with dinnerware, the only issue was the sizing.
