Least weird tasting of the sugar substitutes. I am a fan.
As a person trying to control both weight and stave off diabetes, after trying almost every sugar substitute in existence (from stevia and monkfruit to chemical ones like the pink, blue, and yellow packets) Swerve is the only one I can put in my coffee or tea without having to brace myself for the coming bizarre aftertaste. It is very close to being just plain sweet. And since it has no calories and no sugar spike, I can live with it in between those inevitable forays into Sugarland. The texture is a bit coarser than granulated white sugar (which I don't mind). The color is very slightly amber, not pure white (which I don't mind). They say it is natural- I wonder about how that is defined but for now I'll take their word on that. The 3 stars for ease of use are because it seems subject to moisture in the atmosphere, even inside the sealed packets which I further keep in a sealed canister. It can turn clumpy inside the packets after awhile, but you can still use it. And the individual packets are without doubt expensive; however I prefer them to the loose boxed version (which I also used) for the convenience of taking with me, for controlling the sweetness level, and to prevent a whole open box from becoming clumpy if I don't use it up fast enough. I have not baked with Swerve so I can't say how it works for that.

Great sweetener tastes just like sugar
This sweetener is fantastic. I have never liked artificial sweeteners. This is not very sweet, so I can see why some people who have been using artificial sweeteners rated this low. But going from sugar to this sweetener, it measures more closely to a pack of sugar. I use 2 packets in tea/coffee more like I would use sugar packets. When I use other artificial sweeteners I only use part of a packet because those are very strong.I have used this to sweeten drinks and have used the larger packs to make desserts. People don't even know the desserts are not made with sugar. This product is fantastic and worth trying for sure for a sugar alternative. Just know it isn't super sweet like other artificial sweeteners, but it is a much healthier option and works great!

Not quite as sweet as sugar, but good.
The flavor and texture are good. Very close to real sugar w/no weird taste. I’d say it’s about 75% as sweet as sugar so you may need a bit more of this vs what you’d use if it were actual sugar. The crystals are very similar to sugar. My only complaint would be that it cakes up a bit in the packets, almost as if they’d gotten some moisture. All in all, a good product, but expensive.

Tastes Just Like Sugar
Recently switched from sucralose to swerve and it is a dramatic change. Sucralose is very sweet while swerve tastes more like real sugar in my coffee. I'm typically a one splenda in my coffee drinker. After a lot of research, sucralose is terrible for you and i had to make the switch. I first tried stevia, and it was ultra bitter to me and left a horrible taste in my mouth. Then i discovered swerve and it tasted much better. Took me a couple of days to get used to drinking one swerve in my coffee again but I will never go back to sucralose ever. If you are switching from artificial sweeteners, you will probably need a couple of packets to get the coffee as sweet as you might be used to. But the health benefits of the switch are well worth it in the end. Only issue is these are expensive and not accessible everywhere so ever when ordering coffee out i need to bring my own packets with me. I am hopeful they catch on and become more economical over time and more places offer them as a sweetener option because so far they are the closest to real sugar I have tried.

Bad batch?
I tried the 12 ounce zip lock pouches of Swerve and they were great; tasted exactly like sugar. But sometime later (a couple months?) the sweetener had congealed into a hard solid mass, and it had lost its sweetness. So I threw the rest (the vast majority) of it away. Next I tried the packets hoping that, being individually sealed, they would last longer. But the day they arrived they had already begun to congeal and had already lost their sweetness.Too bad. While fresh, Swerve is exactly like sugar. But I guess there's no way to keep the stuff fresh.

Not sweet
I love brown sugar swerve for baking. These packets of white sweetener just were not sweet enough I prefer stevia over this

Good!
Needed a substitute for sugar, read the reviews.. I agree, hard to find something u can cook with or use in drinks that r not bitter tasting.. I bought this to try in my teas..I quit drinking teas because the substitutes always made my tea bitter... So thought I'd give a try... I have not had regular tea yet,but will try tonight in my green Jasmine blossom tea tonight..will let u know.. Also tried the bulk package in making Jujube fruit butter... it was absolutely delicious!... going to make more... I used less then 2 cups to a whole large pot.. Recipe called for 10 cups... it is more then sweet enough.. happy I taste as I add spices etc!...so give it a try... or wait til I add the review tonight on the tea.

Clumpy Swerve
I love using Swerve. So the individual packets at this price was excellent. I think the shelf life should be longer or did I get a bad batch. As you see In the photos, it’s now clumped & sometimes has to be dug our with a spoon. I wonder about this affecting the product, other than just being able to pour it out of the packet like sugar. Purchased in January. Is that too long to store? Help would be appreciated.Updated: contacted Swerve company. They said storage temp. may have been off & to put them in the freezer to bring them back to powder.
