Nice idea with some drawbacks
If you have a PC case from the golden era with 5.25" bays this will fit. I wish that I had bought more, but they seem to be going out of circulation.I use one in an Optiplex 3020 MT with a 3.5" HDD + 2 SATA SSDs. This device is not meant for higher capcity 3.5" HDDs, safe bet is to stick to 4TB and below (unless your HDD has 3 mount points on each side). I also don't like that the recessed area cover could slide out of position. On my Inspiron 620 MT the recessed area is less of a concern since a flap covers it. I'm using a Corsair adapter that allows 2 SATA SSDs to occupy the 3.5" space. This gives me 4 SATA SSDs.I didn't locate any screws to mount the flex fit trio inside my case, but PSU screws worked on my 620 MT (the 3020 MT has extra screws behind the front panel). In practice your case should have active cooling if you're using these.

I recommend them to anyone who's run out of places to mount their SSD or HDD disks.
A few years ago I repurposed an old Windows PC. Over time it's become the "Triggers's Broom" of my home lab: over the years I've replaced PSU, system boards, CPU,RAM, new HDDs & 2 new cases.I recently added a couple more SSDs and an HDD to the it. Now I don't want to replace the case but needed a better way to store the new drives. Stacking them inside the CD/DVD cage is not really the right thing to do. I saw this and being a cheap skate, seemed the perfect direction to go.I took a bit of a punt grabbing a couple of these. I'm glad I did, they worked exactly as I had hoped and they worked well, really well.Anyone looking for something similar as a solution, I'd fully recommend these.

Not a quality product
This product does suit the described purpose, but only just.1) You are not supplied with screws of the right size. This makes mounting it onto your case more difficult than it should be. For some reason this thing uses screw threads slightly thinner than standard, so not many PC cases will supply you with enough spares to go in this. (You'll find the standard size thread to be too site, to which you'll just end up wrecking the phillips head.)2) The front flap for the 3.5" bay is badly designed. Either this was an afterthought, or intentional to make you buy another accessory to go in the 3.5" bay. The flap sits indented at around half an inch deep, leaving an ugly looking 3.5" bay empty indentation. The cover also doesn't sit in a locked position, meaning it can bounce upwards. Furthermore if you decided to put a hard disk in this bay without using an additional accessory the built-in holding mechanisms are useless, meaning your disk is only held in place by 2 screws instead of 4. (This makes the disk louder.)3) No thought for the rear cabling. You better connect your cables before you slide this in your case, otherwise you'll discover that you have to have baby fingers in order to get the power and data cables in there.I've always thought of Icy Dock as a quality designer and manufacturer of disk accessories. This product really soured my opinion. Oh well. You don't have much choice anyway as this isn't exactly a mass-market product, but if you can find someone else making a similar thing, I'd recommend you check that out before this. Not worth £12, more like £5 maximum.

Great value for money and functionality
Does what it tells, measures are perfect fitting, with a nice touch of having a front panel. Ready the manual. It's in english and the images by themselves are straight forward to follow. It's very light, abs plastic. Comes with screws and they fit well on the case and the disck. Amazing features, 1xHDD and 2xSSD fit perfectly on it. Would highly recommend as great value for money and functionality

Poor quality and didn't really fit.
Looked good on the pictures, but poor quality and does not really fit the gap.Bodged into place as was only for a spare machine the kids used as needed it to relocate HDD's after remving the HDD cage to fit a longer graphics card.Wouldn't recommend it, the old age of you get what you pay for springs to mind.

Absolutely brilliant!
Absolutely brilliant i couldn't recommend this thing enough. I have a Beqiet Silent base 800 and had 970's in sli. I decided to upgrade to an Asus 980Ti Strix i needed to remove all the drive cages to fit it in. With this bit of kit i could transfer a HDD and 2 SSD's to a 5.25bay. I will probably get another when i get more SSD's.It is worth getting to just remove the hard drive cages just for better airflow to be honest. Its also easy to use
