Works a treat but loses a mark as it is stated takes 6aaa batteries, but doesn't specify 6 in each, so total of 12 required.

These are easy to fill and operate. Good quality. Be carful is they fall over as they will start grinding out saltand pepper.

Very good electrical grinders which hold a good amount of salt & pepper. very good rande of grinders size.Excellent at grinding rock salt & pepper corns, but has a bit of difficulty with sea salt flakes but this isn't a big issue as iv had lots of salt grinders & have not found one that does a good job of sea salt flakes.Excellent grinders wall made & good value.

Product arrived safely and it only took a few minutes to install the batteries & we were ready to go. I set the the grinder at what i thought was the right setting but you will find out the best setting once you have used it once or twice.The mills are good value for money and are quite sturdy and if used & taken care of should last a long time.

Locking and opening the top of the grinder ie. Battery Compartment, to be able to fit batteries in is very difficult... especially if you have arthritic hands!!! It's far too stiff... a screw closure just like the salt and pepper Compartment would be far better

Initially they work great, the concept is fabulous for my needs, But their longevity is pants, within a few weeks they had used up 2 lots of batteries each, it is clearly due to the plastic gears wear down really fast, meaning the seasonings are harder than the grinders, the ground seasoning pieces get bigger than are comfortably edible.By adjusting the top twisting adjuster only helps for a short time, as it too wears away again very quickly, until there is no adjustment left for you to use.Thus unfortunately leaving you with unpalatable large chunks, which are soon around two thirds of the original object you wish to grind (Cornish sea salt & black/pink peppercorns), only then quite quickly turn to three quarter sized chunks of the near whole peppercorns & salt rocks that are similarly sized!Believe me these are a Great concept (I am disabled & suffer with chronic mobility issues:- hence my 2 separate purchases, I purchased silver set & a black set!)….But as with both sets of 2 grinders (4 separate grinders in total) all died their death the same!!But if all 4 grinders had only metal moving parts & grinding gears, I truly believe they would be going great & all still be functioning.Metal grinders & gears within them is the only resolution for this problem & is clearly needed for these to function for far longer than a just a few months, which would then & only them make them worth the price paid, so they are not cost effective at all currently & I am now out of pocket twice over..Warning though, as the bits that do come out as they fail are so large, they are unpalatable & totally inedible, add to this all the small grey plastic bits from what were grinding teeth/parts also end up spattered through your food!!…So Buyer beware, unfortunately I stupidly bought 2 sets:- 1 silver set, plus 1 black set, a set each of for our home & our Caravan, but this was before realising their fast failure rate, so I can’t return any of them as they lasted just past the 30 days return windows!!

Works well and the light is an added attraction! As we are just my husband and myself we have daintier alternatives for our table, but if you are a family they are perfect. I find them excellent and quick to use in our kitchen.

fabulously easy grinding .... in fact too easy ... you cant lie them down in a draw without then turning on ... so only buy if you can keep them upright ... but if you can you wont regret it ... update ... after 2 years the one we used the most has died
