It keeps mosquitoes away

We have a small patio set outback and put one in each corner of the table and it's more like it repeals them far enough to let then eat us alive.

The scent is nice and smells like citronella but it’s not that strong to be effective. I’ve looked at other decorative citronella candles in home decor stores and they smelled citrusy but not like citronella, and these definitely do so that’s a plus. Perhaps it is their size that keeps them from giving a good dose of citronella? I expected a concentrated punch of it to come from a candle of that size in order to be effective... in other words they aren’t smelly enough.I like that they are in votive holders already so they don’t leave a blob of wax behind and they burn for a long time, they look great in the ceramic lanterns I have scattered in the sitting area on our patio, so that’s a plus too.Unfortunately, they just weren’t enough to help repel the buzzing biters in the sitting area. I bought a citronella plant and it does a better job on its own...I like them for outdoor candles but not fit mosquitoes.

The Scent good, longevity good value not very good.

Nice little candles but the scent is not very powerful. Not sure how effective they are at repelling mosquitos. Time will tell as we get more into mosquito season. They do seem to last a long time though.

Had been getting bites until we lit these candles up... One bite since we put them out. Not too much of a scent which is good for us.. and helpful if used indoors...Only negative is that they are small and won't last too long..
