The design of this case is pretty nice. It’s also lightweight and minimal while seeming to give a bit of drop protection. Unfortunately it’s falsely advertised.The listing says it has a raised bump around the camera to protect it. There is indeed a raised bump. It’s just not as high as the camera lenses, so it does nothing! When set on a flat surface the camera lenses are still in contact with the surface and the phone will rock against the lenses as if it doesn’t have a case at all.I suspect the seller “updated” a design for a previous model like the iphone 11 and didn’t account for the camera bump being thicker on the iphone 12.Overall I like the design but it’s poorly executed and falsely advertised.

I don't expect this case to protect from "drops" but I can't just go without a case because iPhones will scratch if continuously plop them down on various countertops, tables, etc.. Because I hate bulky cases, I had been using "bumper" cases which work well. However, after installing this case, I feel like its just about as light and I prefer not covering the rails/buttons of the iPhone. In fact, I did not know this type of case existed until I searched around. So, glad I found this one because I think it has great look and feel and you still feel like you are holding a new iPhone because the buttons and squared edges and aluminum are all at your fingertips.So, I would highly recommend this case for what it does well. Also, since the iPhone 12 has better shatter resistance on the front but not the back, this style of case seems like a good compromise. The new square rails and the back of the phone will have a little bit of extra protection.The only negative is that I will never use the "ring" so there is that annoying bump on the back of the case. But its a very minor issue and I hardly notice it.

Found this case on Amazon for my 11 Pro and hoped that there was one for my 12 Pro. The pictures on the page for it were not accurate at all. However, I took a chance and bought it anyway. Very glad I did. It is a perfect fit like the 11 Pro version. The speaker holes at the bottom are tiny bit off alignment but not by that much to matter. Overall a great bumper-esqe case.

I like feeling the sleek profile of my iphone but am afraid to go completely without a case. This provides a minimal amount of protection, mainly from scuffs and scratches and slightly against falls, without adding hardly any bulk. I drop my phone a lot and have never had any breaks or damage with this case-whether that's because this case provides a lot of protection or the iphone itself is durable I can't say--probably the latter. But I've used this kind of case for a year or so and have had no problem. The only issue is that these cases only last several months before they start to come apart. Good thing they're cheap.

This case is perfect. I got the blue case for the Blue iPhone 12 mini. It provides good protection when phone is face down or face up, you can use all the real buttons instead of covered ones, its nice to easily use the actual silent switch instead of holding the phone with one hand and sticking your thumb in hole of other cases. It's not a finger print magnet. LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT.

I love this case.The last time I had a case I loved so much for an iPhone was Spigen neo hybrid bumper cases for iPhone 4&5. they stopped making them after 6 which is disappointing.I love a cash that offers decent protection and is minimal at the same time.This case does just that. The lips on the top and bottom of the phone are raised just enough so my screen protector does not come in contact with any surface. And the bumpers on the top and bottom are soft enough to absorb some shock, but sturdy enough to hold the phone snug. Sides are exposed, but the bumpers keep them from coming in contact with any surface. You'd have to drop your phone on a corner for the exposed sides to be a problem. So far I've dropped my phone a few times. The bumper is scuffed up nicely but my phone AND screen protector are in mint condition.

After using this product for a few weeks I have decided that it is not adequate for what I intended it for. First issue came when I attached the provided ring to the case. The two piece screw lock that attached the ring to the phone unscrewed and I nearly dropped the phone. I super-glued the two pieces together so they couldn't come apart. Now, a few weeks later the strings have worn to the point of breaking with a light tug. I think this product should be used with extreme caution if utilizing the provided string and ring. They are unreliable and could damage phone if counted on to stay together or to not break.

If you’re looking for a slim but protective case for your iPhone 12 pro max look no further. With the exposed sides, this case allows you to show your iPhone off and enables you to handle an already big phone much easier. In addition, with the included finger loop, you can also reach the top of this massive phone easier as well. My only complaint would be the camera bump needs to protect more of the lenses as the Max extends the lenses a bit more than the rest. A lens protector should solve this easily but in theory it should have this coverage out of the box. Overall, a great case!
