It happened a month ago and somehow came back after a day or so, but this time, no such luck. I tried popping it out and tried to "help" it click back but no matter what, it refuses to click back so I have to either just take it off to carry, or put it on for stand.Also, as some other reviewers had pointed out, this is a NOVEL IDEA but is simply not as useful as other "stand" cases. The thin swing out plastic is just too thin of a material, so while I CAN use it to hold the phone in one hand and click around the screen for a bit, it's just not very steady of a grip so I also dropped the phone a few times. The magnet isn't strong at all to stick on the car vent and even when the plastic leg is out and inserted into the AC vent, along with magnetic holder, the phone came crashing down on breaks one too many times so I just put it down in center console, which, does pose some safety risk when I do have to glance at it time to time even with Apple Car Play on, to say, check overall direction.Now, with $50 spent this case only lasted 5 months... I still love the case but until they can come up with something not as flimsy that can retract and click back more reliably (perhaps using more foolproof mechanics than elasticity/tension mechanics (sorry am not a engineer so my term could be off here but you get what i mean), this case unfortunately is a bad buy and $40 too much.=============================================================I looked everywhere for the perfect phone case for my new iPhone 11 - wanted clear case to show off phone's beautiful green color, offer rugged protection, be anti-slip (my previous case was so slippery!), and has a stand functionality. I didn't care for that ridiculous looking pop stands because phone would go into my jeans pocket often so needs to be slim profile.Well, Scooch to the rescue! It literally was exactly the case I was looking for so I was super excited. I did think paying nearly $50 isn't too justified but went for it anyway.Shipped fast and the packaging and the product is beautiful. It fit my phone like a glove and unlike what other reviewers said, the elastic "feet" isn't difficult to pop in and out once you get the hang of it. I can do it in one hand, stand it up and watch my clips at perfect angle while eating breakfast. It has nice ridges throughout the sides so the phone doesn't slip out of my hand easily.However, it also isn't as useful as I thought for 2 reasons:1. Holding with one hand for selfies or "stabilized" hand-held watching is not as solid/steady as I expected it to be. I have fairly long fingers yet it doesn't sit "tight" like a pop socket would. A trade-off for that slim profile2. That feet also doesn't quite stay in place at the AC vent and I'd had the phone come tumbling down while driving a few times. It DOES have a MAGNET on the disengage part of the scooch mechanism that helped wiith a magnetic mount used in tandem with the vent, but still the slips happened a few times so now I just put the phone down as I use CarPlay anyway.Maybe they can think of the way to make the scooch feet a bit more hefty?But this is still a great case that checks all the boxes for me - just not perfectly. Oh, and please lower the price to like $25. Nearly $50 is ridiculous...

This case seemed like a great idea. The case itself is pretty nice but the pop out “wing” is not very functional. It’s not easy to open and close, often times the whole plastic part that swings out comes off because the release mechanism is right near where the “wing” pulls out. When you use your fingernail to lift up the wing almost every time my finger hits the release and the whole thing comes off. Not very practical. It also says it’s compatible with magnetic stands but I find that the magnet is not strong enough to hold. I truely regret paying so much money for this case and If I still had the packaging I would have returned it.

This case is the perfect all in one case. I boasted about this cased every time I got the opportunity up until yesterday. The darn strap will not stay down no matter how hard I try and it’s rather annoying. I had this case for about two months not mention it’s not inexpensive. Hopefully the seller will send a new one. I’m willing to give it another try.

These are my favorite iPhone cases! I’ve had one on my iPhone 8 for almost 2 yrs & it held up very well! I drop my phone a LOT, and this coupled with a screen protector, kept my phone completely scratch & crack-free! I love the little stand on the back- I put it in my car vents so I can see it for gps. I bought this one for my iPhone 11 & it is even better, because this stand is removable for wireless charging!

I had a scooch case for the Iphone X and it worked perfectly. Fit in my car vent no problem, worked as a stand just fine, it was the best case I had ever gotten. Purchased this for my Iphone 11 thinking it would be the same, but unfortunately it just does not work as well as the previous models. Doesn't fit in my car vent well and constantly falls out, I had issues with the back clip popping out within one month - two months of purchasing it. While it works fine, and is at least acceptable as a stand and a case, it did not provide all the benefits that I enjoyed with the previous model. As such, I cant say $50 is an acceptable price for it. Overall, it still has some pros and looks cool, but it is not what I was hoping for when I made the purchase.

This is an excellent iPhone case. I am writing this review to let anyone know who is in my situation about the use for it I have. I wanted a case that would allow wireless charging of the iPhone and have a metal back which allows it to be magnetically mounted to my dashboard. This case does both very well. The removable section on the back comes right off for charging and has enough metal in it to securely attach to the magnet on my dash.I hope this helps someone since I was not sure about the metal on the case back until after I received it. It's not quite as secure as a metal disk glued to your phone or case, but it works fine.

This is my second Scooch case and I love it just like my first one. Durable and practical. I keep my phone in my front pocket at work and this case isn’t so thick that it doesn’t fit. I like the black edges of the Tuxedo version because if I had the clear one, the edges would turn dark purple/black from being in my pocket all the time. I don’t have to worry about that now with the black edges of my Scooch.

This case is really convenient, as you can pop the back and set the phone horizontally with no issue. I am constantly dropping my phone, so the case is really sturdy. What makes this case good and not great, is that it doesn't sit high enough when positioned vertically. This would have been nice, as I will often "FaceTime" people when I am taking care of chores or cooking, as I am a mom of 3 and hardly have time to communicate with other adult human beings. Looking forward to a case redesign!
