This rice mix is great. Flavor is deep and savory, and its got a good chew. Dried fruit is a good add to it. I throw dried cranberries in it after cooking and let them steam during the ten minute wait period after rice is done. Comes out perfect. It's great with game - I serve it with orange duck and the orange sauce drizzled over the rice is good. I'm never without this brand rice mix since I came across it a decade ago. It's a 45 minute cook time with a ten minute top-on rest time added to that.

If you are careful to rinse it and cook it properly, it's delicious! I cook it with a little butter and some seasoned salt.

Walmart stopped selling this so I've been buying it the past year on Amazon. This is excellent excellent rice. The sad part is the last time I ordered, January 2024, it looks like the company might have gone out of business or something cuz Amazon looks like they're not going to be carrying it.

Just got done cooking some in my rice cooker with Badia everything mushroom seasoning and some chicken stock bullion paste. Firm, chewy, and flavorful. Found a new go-to easy side dish.

Fairly good value by comparison, but doesn't cook as indicated. The rice mix, like from other vendors, needs 10-15 more minutes of cook time. We live at 4000ft and there are no instructions for cooking at altitude (if that is a factor). As described, folks don't care about Rich Color and other bluster - simply give cooking instructions that matter to the user of the product in all scenarios.

I used this rice for a turkey while rice soup. The blend they have is exactly what you want from wild rice and had a good variety. The rice cooks as instructed and has that mild nutty flavor and texture.

If you like hardy, nutty rice, you’ll love this rice blend. I made a cilantro and lime rice dish and it was amazing. Also sautéed some onions, mushrooms and garlic then I cooked this rice in the same pot, that was some of best I ever tasted. My husband loves this rice blend too. It takes about 45 minutes to cook the rice, but it’s so worth it. I will definitely buy this again and again.

Great product however Costco sells larger bag at 4 pounds for much much less! I was disappointed to learn seller sold this small bag at such a high price.
