So far so good:) Just a note for buyers that RUSH like me. In the instructions it tells you to put this on 24 hours before you surf. I did not read them until I was on my way to surf. So just a heads up. I waited to use them for the next session. They seem to work as described for this aging bad back having guy:)

Good idea, but….
Excellent adhesive. Anyone who had difficulty, didn’t clean it well enough.I have been riding a longboard for 15 years. Thought I would have some fun on a short board again. Found out that my longboard pop up didn’t work so I tried these. I also started stretching regularly.Tries with and without these installed. These did help a little. A little heavy. Took moving the Velcro knobs a couple Times before I found their spot. They were a little awkward because I also found out that I put my hands in different places depending on the wave and these are where you put them. Adjustable, but not as you are paddling for a wave.Ultimately, my stretching has overcome my need for these in fairly short order.Would have given a 4 but the Velcro on one of the knobs was coming off on one side right out of the box.My wife also rides the board these are on and she really likes the Velcro pads without the knobs.

were problematic in the surf probably better used in gym or for yoga

These work
These are great. Makes it much easier to pop up. Keeps hands in same position each time, ads that bit of extra space to allow your knee to get under your chest.

Good in theory, jury's still out practically
After hip replacement surgery, my pop-ups have suffered greatly. I find the relatively small area of the surf knobs tends to restrict where my hands need to be. I kind of wish they were surf pads, rather than knobs because I think a larger surface area by means of a pad for the palm of my hand to press against, rather than a knob for my fingers to grip would be better for me. Having said that, it's better than nothing.

They get in the way
Kinda got in the way when sitting on my board. I found it difficult to place my hands in the exact same spot when popping up. Well made and attached easily and securely.Just not for me.

Clean the wax off good first
So very awesome that little edge helps me pop up and my roommate 59 with Titianium hips can pop up now 🤙🏼
