I got this to protect a wooden bar counter. It just happens to be the perfect size, and the design is attractive. I like it better than individual placemats that slip all around. This runner has a weave to it, so it doesn't protect against spills, so be mindful of that. Also, it's taking a long time for the curl to fully work its way out of the runner. The way it is shipped, it is tightly rolled up and doesn't want to lay flat.

This lies flat and is just what I was looking for to protect my dresser top. And, it fit perfectly!

The media could not be loaded.  Very nice . I'm still testing the heat resistant part out , but other than that it's great so far. I got it to save my counter top from getting even more ruined from hot pots. I've been so nervous to place a hot pot on top of it lol but I will try it soon.

I had to do some work to get it to lay down properly. After it finally did I really liked it.
