observeye F20-3 Extension Cable for Foscam R2, and Other IP Cameras 5V Power 20' FT,

This is quite expensive for an extension cord, however it is fairly long and should allow me to position my foscam wherever I need to and still be able to plug into a power source. I've bought HDMI cables on Amazon for half the price of this extension cord. So this would get 5 stars if it was about half the price that it's listed at now. The cord that came with the foscam was pretty long - about 10 feet, so this extension is not necessary for most applications.

This is a good-quality power extender cable for the Foscam cameras (R2, specifically) that fits and works as advertised. Although there are probably less expensive cords this seems to be reasonably-priced at $4.99.

I bought this to extend the power cable on my FI8910W camera. The cable works fine, and is pretty well made. My only complaint (and it's minor) is that both ends of this cable don't seem to "grip" the port/cable they plug into as firmly as the OEM shorter cable that comes with the camera. This does not prevent it from working though.

I don't understand why these cameras come with such a short cable. These extensions are a great way to allow you to mount a camera on top of a tall bookshelf (we've got it on top of an ikea billy bookshelf) or on the ceiling (our other camera). Makes it easy to keep an eye on the little one while she sleeps.Very glad to have found these, previously I had an extension cord hanging down the wall since for some strange reason my outlet is near the floor! I mean who does that, besides EVERYONE?Very irritated with foscam's lack if foresight. But problem solved.

Totally stupid. Did not work at all for an R2 camera dumb. Foscam should make their cords 3 feet lonnger. in reading the comments people give up and use regualar extension cords. It looks dumb to have a plug 1/2 way up the wall as the FIX!!

I have 4 of these extensions and one did not support enough voltage to keep the camera signal stable and transmitting. I have intermittent problems with one other. 50% success not too good. But, cameras are wonderful and fairly ease to set up.

Fit perfect for my R2 cam and gave me the length I needed to get my camera to where I needed it. Bought two, and both are working great several months later. Have no issues with the cameras dropping or losing power. Would buy again and recommend to anyone who needs one.

This was just what I needed to extend the camera power so that it would reach the outlet. Working on foscam cameras. So far I have been using this for about a month with no issues.
