Exactly as described. Great easy recipes for two people who need to watch their diet for cardiac and diabetic issues. Only two pork recipes, so more of those would have been nice, but overall, very happy.

Fabulous cookbook for diabetics and those with other health issues
Are you dealing with a new diagnosis of diabetes for yourself or a loved one? Is cooking healthy meals becoming a daunting task? Are you trying to keep within the guidelines on amounts of carbohydrates, fiber, calories and cholesterol? If so, take a deep breath and try to relax. It will get better over time and you will feel more confident about it. Use this book to help you now and in the future. I purchased it on the recommendation of my husband's dietitian. What a relief to flip through a cook book and realize, "I can make this! It will taste good and it's healthy!"It's specially designed for cooking for two but if you have basic cooking skills, you can double the recipes to serve more people.I have recommended this cookbook to friends, neighbors and family who have health problems. It's good. It will become a favorite book to turn to in order to cook healthy.

I use it almost every day.
The recipes are flavorful and very low in calories. With planning and using your freezer for vegetable and meat prep, it also reduces waste making it very economical. It's been in regular use for 2 years. I'm ordering the print version just because that can be easier to use in the kitchen. Definite recommend.

Tasty
I’ve made several of the recipes and we like them. I like that the recipes are simple, but flavorful. Easy to prepare with no weird ingredients and it’s scaled for 2 people instead of the usual 4 - 6. This cookbook has the nutritional info for every recipe which I like. Some recipes are too high in carbs, in my opinion, but I think I can figure out how to lower the carbs enough to fit our primary diet. Calls for a cup of beans? Only use half or in some cases, none. All in all I think it’s a good cookbook and will be one I’ll use often.

Marjority of recipes are on one page, if on two pages they face each other, nice.Like that I did not encounter any artificial sweeteners in the recipes and only good oils.The font size is a little on the small size for me but the type face is crisp so that help me to not miss read the recipes.The cookbook does cover a really nice selection of food styles. Which is great for people who really enjoy variety, like me. The down side for me and anyone like me is having to work out the recipes for gluten free and dairy/casein free diets.Recommend this cookbook to all especially if you have no food limitations.

Delicious Recipes
The recipes in this book are imaginative and delicious, and once I had upgraded my kitchen with an assortment of spices, herbs, and vinegars, etc., meal prep is easy. I have been using one of the recipes from this book every day for my main meal, and that together with cutting out most processed sugars from my diet and cutting down significantly on simple carbs, has resulted in me losing 14 lbs in 12 weeks. My primary intention in buying this book was to try to eat meals that would help me control my glucose levels (pre-diabetic). It has helped me do that and the weight loss is a tremendous bonus. Highly, highly recommend this book.

It could be heart and diabetic healthier & lacks pictures
It has some good recipes. Some have more salt in than I'd like and some have too much sugar in my opinion. I wish it had pictures beside the recipes. It has some pictures, but the pictures are clustered together. It does give good ideas.

This cookbook has so many tasty recipes and makes it easy to cook for two. My husband and I are trying to reduce sugar in our diet and this has made it easy. Because the recipes serve only two, it makes it easy to control the portion size. Some of the recipes I have tried so far and really like are Spiced Sweet Potato Waffles, Mexican-Italian Omelets, Oatmeal Pancakes with Bananas, French Toast with Strawberry-Orange Sauce, Whole Wheat Breakfast Pizzas, Quick Herb Tomato Soup and Baked Peach Crisp. And there are so many more recipes that I am looking forward to making!

Not bad
This has some interesting recipes and at least it is written for just two people portions. Quickly received from the seller. Some ingredients may not be easy to find, but that is a common problem when buying American based books.

Excellent cookbook
Lots of great recipes. Would be especially good for one person, who likes to have leftovers. The recipes are not only healthy, but delicious.
