I'm Waiting God Participant Workbook

Our small Bible Study group is really enjoying this study. It is not a deep dive into theology, but sheds light on the lessons we can learn from the women covered in the study like Hannah and Ruth, and how we can apply it in our lives today. There is an accompanying video online.

This is the best bible study I have ever done. I thought Barb Roose was inside my head (or home lol) bc everything in this book was made for me (or so it seems). God has blessed me abundantly through it. Every lesson in the book was excellent and I love how she shows from Scripture the principle that she is teaching. I loved it so much I gathered a group of women in my home who wanted to go thru it with me (my 2nd time). I have consistently gone back over lessons from the study guide to reinforce truths that she had drawn from God's Word and I know I will continue to do so. I praise God for leading me to this. I actually bought extra copies and have given them to people to read bc I know that it will bless their lives. No matter what study I do, I seem to come back to truths from this one repeatedly!! I sent my pastor 6-7 pictures of points that she makes or a whole page that was filled with writing that had changed me. I have had chronic health for 20+ years- I am 40- and it has given me a sense of internal peace I never thought I would have. My friends' lives were changed through this study also and I just can't stress enough to give it a try. I was talking to a friend the other day and used 3 examples with sculpture from this study - just during our 30 min conversation!! This is a book for the weary, tired, impatient, anxious, depressed and drained woman. My husband laughs bc I will always bring up topics from the book---lol.When I had the group study, I bought the video, which was very well done. So I love them both together!!Barb- if you ever read this please know how much you have blessed my life. I am now more patient with God, content to know that God has a plan, and so thankful to hear from someone else that I'm not the only one. Sincerely....Renee

I’m Waiting God is a study into the difficult, but ultimately beautiful journey into learning about God’s timing. I loved that each week highlighted different women of the Bible, and whether I had ever studied their situations or not, it gave a unique perspective into their lives that I hadn’t explored before.I also loved that the study could be used however I wanted it to be used. It was only four week’s long, but each week could be as in depth into the topic as I needed it to be. There were a few days of “homework”—reading Scriptures and applying it to my life. But then there were a couple more days of *optional* homework that I actually think helped with the practicality of appplication.In the end, Barb did a great job reminding me of the blessings of waiting-gratitude, discipline, prayer. When we wait, we lean into Him and realize more and more that He’s in control and that is the biggest blessing of all!

Fantastic little 4 week study!! I went through it with a friend and ended up buying one for another friend. Simple but exactly what you need to hear! A+++

This is a great study that every woman can relate to. We are always waiting on something! Barb takes the readers through the Bible stories of Hannah, Ruth, Martha and the unnamed bleeding woman. She reminds us that although things may not come to pass right away, that we need to continue to keep focused on God and the blessings and promises that He has given to each of us. I recommend this book to study leaders and to individuals who want to learn how to make the most of their “waiting room” times and how not to let discouragement bring us down.

Short and sweet. - this Bible study is perfect for a mini-group session. It’s all about learning to wait for God and be patient with His timing. Barb uses four different stories from the Bible to help teach us this lesson. As always, her studies are easy to read and comprehend as well as completely applicable! Love all of her studies!

Three of my friends and I went through this Bible Study together and absolutely loved it. Each week we came together to talk about the reading, we all felt so challenged and convicted, but in a good way. We were all able to grow so much using this study and we are so thankful for it. DEFINITELY recommend purchasing!!!!

Patience is not a strong quality of mine and that is why “I’m Waiting God” is an excellent reminder of difficulty times when women are in the waiting room of life praying for their prayers to be answered.The four week format is a very manageable time frame that seemed to be a friendly but in depth format that left me with a new perspective on God’s timing when answering our prayers.Great group or individual study that I highly recommend!
