This is a really good back brace I have scoliosis and I get muscle spasms a lot when ever I'm at work so I put this on and it helps alot to not feel pain. But man oh man as soon as I take it off its like my back and hips and shoulders feels like it's failing off my body it hurts really bad. But then I take medication to help and if your job have mental detectors like my does it wouldn't go off this is the other reason why I bought. I hate having to take it off and on the down side is I wish it was a little bigger I need a 2x or a 3x this is more like an XL or L.

Love that this brace is stiffer than most. The one I had been using was a softer stretchy material that rolled up in five days. No rolling at all!

This back brace is not useful if you need to protect an area of your lower back on which surgery was performed. I thought that the open area in the back would protect it but I found that because my 35" waist was on the lower side of the specified waist sizes, the opening in the back was too small and added additional pressure to an already sore area that had been operated on. I suspect that it is probably a good back brace under other conditions but not if the area of surgery is under the brace.

I have a belly and find it hard to find a back brace that will support my back and go around my belly comfortably. I was hesitant to order this one, but I am so glad I did. Once I loosened it all the way, it went around my belly great. Then when I pulled the straps, instead of cinching all the way around, it only cinched in the back! Giving great support and comfort!

Absolutely love this brace! I love that it is wide and covers more of my tourso. Provide's excellent support. My only complaint is that I wish it had some kind of rubber or something on the inside to help ensure that it would stay in place when you change position's. Like going from sitting to standing.
