Samples keep for several weeks once sealed in the paper envelopes provided in our kits. Please do not put them back in the original wrappers, put them in plastic tubes or wrap them in plastic as this will cause them to degrade very quickly. They must be placed directly into the paper envelopes provided. Full instructions are included in the kit.

Yes it will definitely help if they have the same parents then their DNA will be identical. I didn't have my dads DNA however me and my half brother have different mums we did the DNA and it came back as 99.9% so it did define our dad was the same. So assuming they have the same parents it would he a higher percentage.

Samples will keep for several months once sealed in the paper collection envelopes provided in the kit. Please follow the sample collection instructions and make sure you do not place the used swabs back in their original wrapping - they should be placed straight into the paper collection envelopes. This allows damp swabs to continue drying out. It does not matter if there is a damp patch on the envelope.
