Disappointed customer
I highly recommend if you want immediate answers and reactions, DO NOT USE THESE CANDLES. Candle was blue for a very long 2 mins and then started to get pink on top. Everyone anticipating the big reveal was very confused!!! Thank goodness my husband and I found out the gender in the morning before using the candle to reveal to family later.... otherwise I would have thought boy, and then been super confused!! If you’re having a boy I’m sure the blue candle is probably blue all along but if you’re the secret keeper and know it’s going to be a girl, do not get these candles under any circumstances. Big disappoint and very awkward for all involved. I would feel less bad if I paid $5 but this was certainly not worth $15.

Pink & Blue!
We thought it would be ideal to reveal to our 3 year old son if is getting a brother or sister.Unfortunately, the flame started blue, then turned half bleu half pink and back to blue. It was very confusing for him! Now he doesn’t believe us that we’re having a girl!

Did exactly what it says it will do
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I don’t write many reviews but came back to do so for anyone interested in this candle. It’s a special moment so you hope it will work right, and it did! I really wasn’t expecting the flame to show so vibrantly, but it did! I heard some people say it flickers but for us it was a true blue right from the beginning.

Do not buy!!
So disappointed there was no pic flame or any smoke. Normal candle - nothing special and this was for a gender reveal !!! Do NOT BUY

Fun
We used several of these on a cake for our gender reveal back in October, and I’m just now getting around to writing a review. My husband and I started lighting candles at the same time and then stood back and watched and waited with our guests as shouts of “It’s a boy!” “No, wait.. it’s a girl!” Rang back and forth as the candles flickered between blue and pink. It took a good thirty to sixty seconds for the candles to eventually settle on pink, but it was really fun to watch and guess with our guests as we were held in suspense the whole time! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something a little different!

Builds Suspense
Worked great for my sisters gender reveal party. Our candle switched between blue and pink for a little bit before settling on the gender.

Disappointed and Faulty Candle
Disappointed that the candle did not give any suspension. It was very confusing because I expected it to flicker between both colors but instead it was set on blue the entire time.

Cute, simple and unique
This was perfect for what I wanted. I find out the gender on my birthday and what better way to find out than on my cake? I tested a pack out beforehand and the blue flame is just light blue. The “pink” flame is like a purple blue on the bottom and a magenta on top. Sunrise vs sunset. Such a cute, simple and unique gender reveal.
