Rusting and Won’t Clasp Shut Anymore
Worked great for about a month or so and now the clasp won’t stay closed which results in a small gap where loose tea falls out into mug. Also has begun to rust so had to toss it.

great idea, but
The mesh is super fine, so the product inside doesn't escape that way. But the 2 halves do not close tightly, and anything that's inside comes out that way. I used it once and threw it out. Don't waste your money.

Bigger than expected
So like ... it works. It's fine. Holds enough tea leaves, latches well, definitely a small mesh. But even looking at the photos, I did NOT expect it to be as big as it is. "Small," you say, description? No. This this is GIGANTIC. I had to find a bigger cup just to get this thing the room it needs to slide in! If you're not using hefty mugs, maybe find another ball. I'll probably be getting another, smaller one that fits the majority of my cups.

Good size
The mesh is fine so no stray tea leaves escape. It locks securely too so there are no accidents. It’s large enough that I will sometimes use it instead of cheesecloth to secure herbs in stew. When the stew is done you just pull the chain up and all the herbs come right out. Easier than fishing bay leaves and thyme sprigs out of a boiling pot of stew.

I’m not sure if the locking mechanism is broken but the little metal ‘nub’ to close it is tiny and tricky to use.

I left the ball submerged in tea for several weeks (vacations), and when I tried to use it again, the locking mechanism fell off, clearly corroded, with rust eruptions around the little hole.

Useless

This tea bag ball is very difficult to close properly. It has to be exact otherwise the tea leaves and pieces fall out into the water at the side of the ball where it doesn't meet with the other side and then there are chunks of grit in the tea!

For now it serves the purpose
