On the Fly BPA-Free Water Bottle, Blue w Glacier Blue, 24 oz

I live an on-the-go kind of life. I'm always running from point A to point B with a big tote or a backpack full of things that cannot get water damage. I've used dozens of water bottles over the years and there's always been a problem: one is too big so it doesn't fit in my purse or water bottle pocket on my backpack, another leaks like nobody's business, another has a straw that just won't stay attached so you're sipping air most of the time, and others just don't lock up nice and tight. One day, I was talking with my sister over lunch and I had noticed she pulled this water bottle from the dark recesses of her tote and nothing in her purse was wet. I was impressed. She had gotten this water bottle when she bought a 4 years ago and had used this water bottle exclusively since. She took it with her abroad and takes it to college classes everyday with no problems. After I hear her rave reviews, I decided to buy one. I've been using this water bottle for a few months now and I honestly am in love. The slim design makes it unique compared to the typical Nalgene but it still feels very sturdy. Not quite a liter of water but it's more than the typically grocery story water bottle. The loop on the top makes it easy to grab on the go and even hook, via carabiner, to a strap or your bag. My favorite feature is the locking mouth piece. In order to drink water, you have to flip the metal lock down and push the button to pop the lid off. I've read some reviews saying that this is too much effort but honestly, I love it. I know that the water bottle won't leak and it hasn't. I work in a school and I carry this around all day. Sometimes my students accidentally kick it across the floor and no water ever leaks. I also drop this bag into my gym bag and nothing gets damp ever. The small mouth piece also makes it great to grab a quick gulp of water while you're in the middle of a run. No twisting off lids: just flip the lock down, press the button and delicious H2O is delivered to your mouth with no spills. Bottom line: buy this water bottle. I love it and I think you will too.

This is by far my favorite water bottle. I've had a version of this bottle since 2011. I love that it doesn't spill in my bag, I can easily take a swig when I'm running, and it doesn't have a straw that builds mold. The one thing I've realized about this bottle is when filled with ice cold water and when the pressure changes (on an airplane, for example), the silicone piece that sits inside the lid and prevents leakage gets sucked into the bottle when attempting to open. To prevent this from happening: 1) read the situation (in other words, remember that you're flying or that you filled the bottle with icy-cold water), 2) do not pop-open the lid as usual, 3) twist open the whole lid as if you were to fill/dump water, 4) hear the pressure get released, 5) unlatch and release the actual drinking mechanism, and 6) screw back on and drink as usual. Several things have happened that have made me need a replacement bottle: 1) I lost the silicone stopper when the bottle fell and it popped off (I didn't realize that it had happened and had a huge leak in my bag; remember to always latch the bottle, otherwise, the bottle opens and your water will spill!); 2) I forgot the bottle had liquid in it and I went through airport security, but didn't have time to dump the liquid post-scan and go back through security with the empty bottle. I had to leave the entire bottle there--total sadness; 3) the plastic piece that snaps on the drinking mechanism broke. I was still able to use the bottle for a while due to the latching mechanism, but eventually got a replacement. Overall, a wonderful bottle with which I've had lots of experiences!

Had this for about 3 months now, for my child. It has been to summer camps and school. It has been dropped a couple times. Still standing. It is easy for me to close even with arthritis. It is easy for the 11 year old to close regularly as well. I wash it daily or at least give it a quick rinse daily after school and let it dry overnight. I was using a normal bottle brush but I recently bought a silicone bottle brush that I like better. No worries about the spongy part getting grimey, because there is no spongy part. I run it through the dishwasher a few times a week (cap and bottle). I know people (including my own family members) who don't wash water bottles daily, but I see it like any other drinking glass/cup. I would wash cups every day after use, sometimes washing the same cup multiple times throughout the day, so why not a water bottle? So far no mold, maybe because I rinse/wash regularly and then set it to dry, but I did see one person was able to pop up the plastic from the cap to wash underneath, so i may add that to my washing routine when i have time, just to make sure nothing yucky gets caught under there. I don't tend to like plastic, but little guy can't take glass water bottles to school and the metal one he had actually broke falling off the cafeteria table. This one has held up nicely so far. I actually came to the page to buy a second one, as backup, in case I forget to wash this one at night beofre the next school day.

Love this bottle! Just the right size! Will definitely purchase in another color!

After only two weeks of careful use, the locking clip pin broke.

No desprende sustancias al agua si se expone a cambios de temperatura, por lo menos hasta donde sabemos. Libre de bisfenoles y otras sustancias. Tampoco añade ningún sabor al agua. Llevo usando años este modelo en diversos tamaños, para niños y adultos y sigo fiel esta modelo y fabricante. Soporta lavavajillas (ojo también con los residuos jabonosos y de abrillantadores) pero el tapón recomiendo lavarlo a mano.

This is my favourite water bottle. I had my previous for years and lasted well even when I put in the freezer half full. All other water bottles have started leaking on me: I like that I can pop open with one hand. Only downside is once I threw it in my backpack and the lid unscrewed.

prácticamente irrompible, saludable, y que no dejan ningún tipo de olor o sabor. En casa la usamos y hasta los mas peques saben abrirla y beber perfectamente de ella.

Some difficulty on the locking mechanism initially. But was ok after getting the hang of it. Sturdy, great looking bottle.
