🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 5/5 – The Most Fun You Can Have With Table Salt (Legally)
I don't know why I waited this long to get a Bug-a-Salt!I bought it a after the batteries on my electric fly-swatter died for the tenth time and I felt like the flies began to mock me. I hoped to deal with the few rogue flies left buzzing around my kitchen. What I didn’t expect was to be transformed into a fly-slaying gunslinger, patrolling my home like it's the Wild West and every black speck on the wall is a wanted criminal.Let me tell you, nothing prepares you for the sheer satisfaction of locking eyes with a fly, slowly raising your plastic boomstick, and whispering, “not today,” before blasting it into the afterlife with a pinch of Morton’s.This thing turns ordinary salt into justice. It’s like seasoning the truth... with death. It’s effective, too. Flies? Gone. Mosquitoes? Salted. Spiders? Evacuated the premises out of respect. My neighbor even leaned over the fence asking, “Is that the thing that shoots salt?” Yes, Dave. Yes, it is. And no, you can’t borrow it. Get your own.Just a heads-up: with each shot, a pinch of salt does end up downrange. But hey, your floor gets a light seasoning—consider it a built-in snack for barefoot guests. It's not a big deal though, my robot vacuum sweeps it all up each night while I sleep! In conclusion: If you hate flies and love pretending you’re an action hero in a kitchen-based Western, this is your Excalibur. Buy one. Or two. You’ll never look at a salt shaker the same way again.

Good buy
Don’t let anybody tell you different, I wasn’t to happy with it to start with, but turns out it was my aim by a hair lol but I shot a full grown horse fly with it and it was done for. I’ve been outside for the past 6 hours shooting flies, one of my best purchases for sure, and I’m using regular table salt.

Better than a fly swatter!
The media could not be loaded. Powerful, effective, and way more fun than a fly swatter. Was able to get a 2 for 1 with this bad boy! Highly recommend!

Solid and deadly
This thing is so much fun! Everyday I go out and blast houseflies, bottle flies, moths, mosquitos, etc. It obliterates small moths and mosquitos. The flies are pretty jittery so you can't get too close to them or they fly away. And if you're further away, it doesn't have quite the same power. If you hit a bigger bug, like a bottle fly or wasp, it won't instantly kill them but it will probably stun them enough that they fall down, and then you just pump, shoot, pump, shoot, pump shoot until they're done. Just extra fun for me! I've showed it to several male buddies and they all laugh and say they need to get one. However my wife thinks I'm nuts and feels sorry for the little insects I blast. I go out to our back porch light every night and am actually disappointed when there are no more bugs to assault - my fun is over. This thing is heavy and solid. It's definitely not like some cheap toy. In fact it takes a fair amount of pressure to pump/cock it. My one wish is that they had a larger salt reservoir. It seems I'm constantly refilling the thing after too much fun. Sometimes when it's humid you need to tap the gun a bit to loosen the salt so that it falls into the chamber, but it's not a big deal. The trigger is also a bit firm to pull - it's definitely no hair trigger - and could probably be made a touch easier to pull.

Genius invention
Maybe this was a pointless purchase but it really does work (as long as it's one the the house flies that will land!) Obviously most flies do but once in a while we get one that seems to only fly lmao. Anyways, this salt gun does exactly what it was meant to and is very easy to load. As long as you are within a couple feet it will kill the fly. Plkus it's just kind of fun and a good talking point for someone who hasn't seen this before. Made a simple custom mount (with 2 brackets we already had) to keep it under the desk.
