Immortal Flight

I am a journal junkie. Seriously, I have dozens of journals, and I use each one to record my thoughts on different subjects: books I've read, home decorating ideas, notes about work, etc.. It just helps to keep me organized so I can quickly locate an idea I had several months ago on, say, birthday gifts for family. Peter Pauper Press makes gorgeous, high-quality journals. I have several. The binding stays tight, but you can still lay the book flat, face up, without losing your place. The pages are lightly lined, the size is perfect, but, really, I buy them for the gorgeous graphics! This one, Immortal Flight, really spoke to my darker side, so I decided to use it to record things I want to work on getting rid of in my life: insomnia, that "white elephant" gift that's been sitting in my closet for months, bad habits, bad boyfriends! I think this journal would make a great gift for any girl or woman who is brave enough to face her own demons and deal with them in a smart, productive way.

I love this journal. I record my dreams for interpretation that I do. Wow! great art work and it is small enough that I carry it with me. The price was just right and I am ordering more. The band on the front works perfect and the image does not do justice on here.

Gorgeous, just what my mother wanted. A simple writing journal with pale lines to guide the writing and a beautiful design. It makes a wonderful and inspiring journal to write in.

It's a beautiful journal. Matches description perfectly. Great for writing and for carrying in a purse. Peter Pauper Press doesn't disappoint. It's darker than other journal covers from PPP, but it's still beautiful and detailed.

This journal was a gift for my daughter who uses journals to write stories. She loves it! The picture on the cover is even more beautiful than it appears in the photo. Seems to be well-made too.

I liked this journal until I saw the hidden design in her wings then I was not so found of it but it is a nice book to write in and use as a journal or poetry or stories.

This journal is really worth the price, high quality hardcover and stunning graphics, on the backside is a picture of butterfly with skeleton face on the wings and couple small butterflies, it's really pretty.

I was looking for angel/emotional fairy journals on here, and happened to come across this immortal flight journal. As soon as I laid eyes on it, I fell in love with the journal. I think it's a deep emotional design that happens to depict who I am... On the flip side, I ended up buying it, and receiving it about a week later, at first I really liked it, but then I started really looking at the book, and there are random silver lines that outline some of of the images on the journal (wings, border, her necklace etc..) they are very shaky lines that made my almost 5 star review to 3.

The artwork is lovely and it has blue butterfly details on the inside pages which I adore. Perfect for my dream journal.

Ich habe das Journal als Geschenk gekauft. Ich wusste vorher nur, dass die Beschenkte Fantasy und Mystery gern mag. Danach sagte sie mir, dass Anne Stokes sogar eine ihrer Lieblingskünstlerinnen ist! Das Journal ist etwas kleiner als A5-Format. Die Verarbeitung ist einwandfrei. Da Motiv ist sehr gut erkennbar, die Farben sind kräftig. Die Farbe Blätter sind nicht so grell hell und auf jedem Blatt ist ein kleines Motiv aufgedruckt. Das finde ich sehr niedlich, weil dann das Schreiben darin nicht so "langweilig" ist. Praktisch ist das kleine Gummibändchen, das den Einband des Büchleins zusammen hält. So kann man es gut in der Tasche mitnehmen ohne Angst haben zu müssen, dass es sich aus Versehen öffnet und die Seiten knicken oder verschmutzen. Ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und ein super Geschenk für Fantasy-Freunde!

A stunning looking book, there is some slight raising around the front and back covers art which gives texture. The writing paper is good quality especially for the price. There is a small skull butterfly on each page. Great journal

I bought this little note book/journal to put into my bag so that when I came across any profound statements or little "pearls of wisdom", I can add them to it so I won't forget them. One never knows when one can use them in little messages or cards to friends and loved ones. The book itself is so pretty. The front cover is full of mystery. The artist Anne Stokes depicts, in "Immortal Flight" another realm full of magic, moonlight and eternity. When you open the book, the beauty continues. Each page has curved edges and displays a pretty Purple/Blue butterfly on every page. Each page also shows a lightly gradient colour scheme from Purple/Blue, through to Cream, back to Purple/Blue again. The paper used is acid free/archival. It has 160 lined pages, an elastic band place holder together with a Purple inside back cover pocket, useful for popping small items in such as a book of stamps, or supermarket coupons. The Immortal Flight Journal (Diary, Notebook) measures approximately 5" x 7", so won't fit into a small bag. I would highly recommend this beautiful Notebook/Journal. It is so beautiful and a joy to write in
