I like how Veet significantly reduces the strong chemical smell while still effectively working. I've been using this product for years, and in the past, it was difficult to wash off due to the smell. Now, it's much more pleasant. It's important to note that depilatories carry a risk of chemical burns, as they all contain ingredients that dissolve hair and can irritate the skin. Fortunately, I've never experienced this issue with Veet and have found it to be gentle on my skin.

Really wish I would have taken before and after pics. I love getting waxed, but when my girl kept being too busy, I stopped. I swear by waxing and refuse to go back to shaving all the time. I haven't shaved/waxed my legs in probably 4 months. It's cold and my leg hair had thinned from waxing. My leg hair had to be at least an inch long. I don't have sensitive skin and knowing how much hair I had, I left on for almost 20 minutes. Oh my God!! It took everything away, I was a little patchy but that was my own fault, I put it on thin because I didn't want to use the whole bottle. Even with the thin layer and extra time, it was unbelievable! My legs were so soft after too. I tried on my armpits but left it on around 5 minutes but should have done longer, it definitely needs extra time on coarse and thick hair. Idk how long the results last, but it worked great, feels great, and nowhere near the time and effort of waxing. Absolutely amazed and I hope the results last a while.

Bought this stuff and tested it out today. I've got pretty thick coarse hair and I'm usually too lazy to shave so I had a lot to get rid of. If you use enough and let it sit for long enough it can get rid of most hair, but there will still be a few stray strands here and there the gel will miss. If you're doing different parts at different times and not all at once you really need to make sure whatever part you're doing next is dry before you apply or your results will not be very satisfactory. My arms did get splotchy in several places but it's not that painful. Still, I would not recommend using this product daily, I probably won't use it more than once a week max. Using the product is time consuming so what I'll probably end up doing, and what I would recommend to anyone else, is use it the night before you plan to shave to get most of the hair off and then in the morning get whatever's left over. That way if you go for long periods without shaving, like I do, you won't gum up your razor blade the one day you decide to wear a skirt.

Veet is the shxt for me. I am a chia pet with course hair. My skin is not sensitive. I leave on less time than recommended and it works. I do not shave before using or irritate the skin in any fashion before using. Some recommend exfoliating first then using, I do not. This stuff will burn you especially if pores are freshly open. I exfoliate allow my skin to rest and apply an hour later.
