This is good vegan cheese. Melts very well. Has a decent flavor. And if you are dairy intolerant like me and can’t eat the real stuff, this is the closest-to-real that I’ve found. Recommended.

For a total price of $79, you get 4 packages that are 7 oz each. That does not equal 4 packs of 2.2 lbs each, which would total 8.8 lbs. This item is not as advertised.

I'm starting to think that they changed the formula of this cheese, because it doesn't melt like it used to. Very disappointing.

This review is for the taste only, not the price on here which is absolutely insane. I only use this cheese in my scrambled eggs, and it is heavenly. It reminds me a little of a smoked Gouda. It melts just fine but needs to be heated through. It's the perfect taste and consistency and I am absolutely addicted. Delicious!

I have tried so many Vegan cheese,but this by far is the best w/ good natural ingridients. Who ever wrote a review stating its aweful is Crazy Nuts.This is creamy when melts & does not turn stiff like cheap cow cheeses. It has a wonderful taste as well. 😍

Currently I've been advised by my nutritionist to avoid dairy products. After tasting half of one slice of this Chao non-cheese and finding no detectable taste, I put it on some good naturally flavorful gluten-free bread and spread some mustard on it to keep it from being too dry and to try to add some flavor. Still not good. I have a normal, healthy appetite and do enjoy all kinds of tasty, healthful foods, but for me this is not one of those. Now I'll try to return it to the store. If no refund is available, I might put it out by the edge of the woods to see if any birds or squirrels will eat it. Needless to say if you've read this far, I do not recommend it.

I use for many things. They're great for sandwiches, tops of a veggie burger etc!!Can't understand why so many ppl don't love 'em as much as our family does!!?!!They melt perfectly

If you like paying lots of money for something that tastes like nothing, then this is your product. If I had to choose a detectable flavor to compare it to, I'd say it sort of tastes like wet plastic.Avoid this brand name in all of its Vegan cheese varieties.
