DH88: The Story of De Havilland's Racing Comets Hardcover – January 1, 1985

Very thoroughly researched, lots of details, many good photos. It's not a fair criticism, but it's too bad that the Comet story continued on past the end of the book in the mid-1980s, with a once-lost Comet was found and may eventually be rebuilt again, and also some groups are now trying to build one or two more flyable Comets from scratch. Perhaps someone will write another book to catch up with the last 30,years.

webならカラー写真やカラー動画が見られますがこの本では、そこでは見つからないであろう地味な写真がいろいろあります。図面はあっさりした三面図が一枚あるだけでイラストの類いは表紙を除けばG-ACSSのコクピット周りのそれのみです。文字は比較的大きくて、老眼には助かりました。とにかく貴重な一冊だと思います。
