ASUS Graphics Card HD6450-SL-2GD3-L I have purchased this product and I installed it on my Dell Optiplex 745 Desktop form factor, I have windows 8 Pro, core 2 Duo, 8 gigs of ram, so far there has been no problem with the card and it is working with my power supply, I have a 280 or so watt supply and have been very please so far. I had to change out the plates to the low profile option and it was easy to do. I went and installed the latest driver from AMD as the asus driver seemed to be old, over one year. It took it with no problems, I connected it via vga so I could use my existing cable until I can get an hdmi. I was very pleased with the install and setup of the card. It was clear cut install, no problems. I simply went into my bios and set the graphics to auto and it switched to the card with no issues and then the desktop came up and I was off to the races. I like the fact that this card has 2 gigs of ram and is low profile compatible. My computer is working much better and faster, even though it is an older model. For the games and such that I do, it is working great. I will update this as I have had the card longer.

I bought this item online on June, but I've got to install it to my CPU just couples days ago coz I'm not from the states, so I needed to wait the package to arrive to Venezuela first to try it. But realized it was loading, giving no sign , and the display card never runnedd. Today, I took it to a technician and he checked and turns that the card is damaged. And I'm trying now to make a return but the return policy is no longer available. If there's anything I can do to return it now. Write to me [email protected]

A very good card for supporting XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, Windows 10 and has an HDMI output port. This card is passively cooled meaning no fan, so its silent and doesn't require an extra heavy duty power supply with special power supply connectors to power it. It gets all the power it needs from the bus slot. Has three output connectors, DVI, HDMI and VGA but the HDMI is best, then DVI and finally VGA for the best image quality. The output ports are mated to a Faraday style cage to reduce RF interference and cross talk from adjacent ports. The image is very stable and clear. The chipset is an AMD, drivers and Catalyst software for advanced tweaking are available on a CD that comes with the card, but if you need support for the XP operating system you ahve to download the drivers and Catalyst software from the ASUS website. This is not a gamers card, but it does have 2 GB of onboard memory, which is not available for the same chipset on competitors video cards based on the same chipset.. so the Asus HD6450 has an advantage. Overall its very good if you want HDMI and occasionally need to run XP with other Windows in dual boot mode. Linux includes support for it as well.. so it covers a lot of operating systems. Its a fairly old design these days, but the best passive card released just as HDMI became available for XP before that went out of support. It also strides a long ways going from XP to Windows 10.. and still without a fan! or requiring enormous amount of power.

This is a replacement for one the went bad. The quality of ASUS products has deteriorated over the last few years.

This is a great little card. I put it in my htpc. I'm running it at 1080p on my tv.It's playing high res video flawlessly, including 3d (haven't tried with 4k). Gives me no problem at all playing emulators. Also tried it with in-home streaming from my gaming machine, and I didn't encounter any problems (streamed at 720p for faster response times. can't vouch for 1080p in-home streaming, but with how easily it handled 720p I can't imagine it would be any problem).I would've given it five stars, but it was missing the low-profile bracket accessory. Asus told me I had to go through Amazon to resolve the missing part, but I didn't want to go through the headache of shipping the whole card back (and probably end up getting another without the bracket), so I just bought the bracket for $3 somewhere else(part number is 13G030429011).The card can get a little hot, so I'd recommend at least one quiet case fan or spot fan be installed.

Woks well with the class of less demanding games that I play, but I did have to add another small fan to keep it cool while it is working hard.Oh well... Failed completely 1 month and a week after I received it...It didn't seem very hot when it died, I guess it was infant morality.Amazon says it is too late to send it back.I guess my lesson is to order from a retailer who stands behind there wares a bit more strongly.I'll see what warranty the competition offers for a replacement...

Great video card for the price. Also, this card works well in the Dell Optiplex line including the 745, 755 and 760. The ASUS Graphics Card HD6450-SL-2GD3-L is ideal for the SFF desktop models which generally have power supply units under 300 watts. The card has a nice heat sink and no fan. For hard core gamers this is not your card. If you need a decent card with 2 GB of video ram this is it!

I have had one of tease cards before they run amazing and the people who complain with five stars are incorrect! Cause this card is great for gaming so on the down low have no clue if tease are rookies but if you don't know a computer inside and out I suggest you don't talk bout it negative. Because over clocking and finding the right dns and having high enough power supply can even work amazing on older motherboards. I have Dell 755 with a 305watt power supply and Intell vpro 4gb of ram and everything runs awesome for gaming at high settings. Sometimes you even need to go into you bios settings configure power and performance options. If you do this you will find hidden settings to make your computer faster like activating your second core for your processor. Unless you don't know what I am talking about leave it to us level 3 techs. Lol

Fantástica Tarjeta gráfica, la utilizo para en un PC Slim y cumple perfectamente. Quizá demasiado cara para lo que es, Las hay bastante mejor por ese precio.

I bought this card to replace one that kepted on failing on me. I am very happy with this card. I think it was worth the money, and I am running it on Windows 10. It works perfectly.

Acheté pour du neuf, c'est un produit reconditionné qui ne fonctionne pas. Emballage neutre, pas de notice, avec une étiquette avec Numéro RMA sur le côté, Indiquant que cela a déjà été utilisé. Très déçu

Gets the job done. I have yet to test any games on it but works great for movies.Seems to heat up quickly but noting another fan cant fix.
