It works for a while but I’m a perfectionist. So might be ok for most.

I'm surprised to read some of the negative reviews. This product has been outstanding for me. I've used other wheel waxes and they were either messy to apply, difficult to remove after hardening/setting, or cracked/decomposed during storage. This product wipes on and then wipes off - super easy. I have dust-free disc pads so I have minimal brake dust for the product to remove. I can say that when I take road trips, I use a waterless wash for the vehicle and the road grim rinses away from the wheel as I'm spraying the bottle of wash ... simply wiping returns the fantastic shine. Another benefit is that the product cleans when you apply it. Light dirt and grim are rubbed away when I apply the product. This is an excellent product for me and I've used it on all of the family's vehicle.

Rims look awesome after use.

I purchased this in hopes of making the brake dust on my car easier to remove. The material in the can I got was hard as a rock but I applied it anyway not knowing if that's how it was supposed to be. After a week when I went to wash my wheels it was like the brake dust was stuck to my wheels. It took two applications of wheel cleaner to get the dust off. I guess you get what you pay for but I'll never recommend this to anyone.

This product is the best for protecting wheels. It’s easy to apply and easy to buff clean post-application. It really does repel brake dust and dirt from the road. I apply it twice a year, especially right before winter time, and the wheels stay looking great for longer. Any dirt that does build up, wipes right off with a damp microfiber towel or can be blown off with a hose. Minimal effort is required for cleaning. This is a must have product if you want to keep your wheels clean!

Anyone who has a car with black wheels and big brakes knows how terrible it is to keep them clean. I used this wheel wax several months ago, and washed my car today. The brake dust came off so much more easily. Probably made my job 95% easier. Not the easiest wax to apply, but it is worth the effort. Sent one to my brother in law. Great product!
