Large base makes it sturdy, plus the cat gets to stand on it directly so less likely to tip over. The jute rope is not the best but is good enough for my sister's cat. And very cheap and pretty large compared to other options. Only issue you have to assemble it yourself, make sure you tighten it well.

My cats truly loved it, I love it too cus these scratch posts are consumables, your cats will eventually scratch them till it starts falling apart and you'll have to get a new one and cheap enough that getting a new one ever 6-8 months is not gonna break the bank. The base is well weighted so there is no risk of it falling over, the ropes are made up of jute which is great material, it's biodegradable, non toxic so if you cats chew on it, if thin fibers of it end up in your food it's totally fine. There is not a lot else to think about to be honest in this product

I bought the first scratch post earlier in the year and it is still going strong. Was initially apprehensive about the jute rope's longevity as it seemed quite thin, especially compared to the thick jute ropes I use in my homemade cat tree. 5+ months of regular scratching and it's still going strong. So full marks to the first one. Second one I bought a couple days back is a different story. As soon as I started assembling, heard some clicking sounds, as if there was something loose inside the top pole. After the fitting, it kept tilting and will eventually go free. I thought of returning the product but decided to keep it and fix myself whenever that day comes. I also don't use WhatsApp which sellers always request to use these days. Amazon's inbuilt messaging is so much better. Overall, my cat is enjoying the product a lot more than scratch mats, so I am satisfied. Videos show neighbor's orange tabby who, as soon as I installed the tree, got to it before Duggi could! P.S., none of the 2 trees I purchased had the detachable dangle toy.

This product does not have correct attachment facility to fix the two separate poles together. The MS rod cannot be attached firmly with the pole on the base board due to which the second pole cannot be fixed onto the first pole fixed on the base board. Therefore only one pole can be used.Obviously there is some defect in the design such that the two poles cannot secured with the MS rod provided, despite following the Assembly instructions provided. Unfortunately there is no return policy, only replacement policy. But replace with the same defective designed product? Does that make any sense? Waste of money. Very dissatisfied with the product.

Item was good and my cats really liked using it but it hardly lasted a month. The rope got loose and it kept breaking. Maybe not so good for adult cats.

Third purchase of this post. Great value. Cat loves it and uses it with vigour several times a day. It’s tall enough for her to stretch properly. The sisal does shed but not badly until the post is beyond repair! Easy to screw together and pretty stable although I do put a weight on one corner of the base.

Excellent cat post-- sturdy and very affordable. Our kitten (6 mo Arabian Mau) took a second to learn what it it is, but now love using it either to scratch or to climb so that she can get onto nearby tall things. The one change I would suggest to the product is that it would have a longer string on the ball. She wasn't interested in it as is, but we attached a second toy to it so that it would dangle longer. It was an easy fix a a customer, but also would be a nice change for the manufacturer to make. Product arrived as described and was easily assembled in 5 minutes.
