Very sturdy and quality product

My cats truly loved it, I love it too cus these scratch posts are consumables, your cats will eventually scratch them till it starts falling apart and you'll have to get a new one and cheap enough that getting a new one ever 6-8 months is not gonna break the bank. The base is well weighted so there is no risk of it falling over, the ropes are made up of jute which is great material, it's biodegradable, non toxic so if you cats chew on it, if thin fibers of it end up in your food it's totally fine. There is not a lot else to think about to be honest in this product

Item was good and my cats really liked using it but it hardly lasted a month. The rope got loose and it kept breaking. Maybe not so good for adult cats.

I bought the first scratch post earlier in the year and it is still going strong. Was initially apprehensive about the jute rope's longevity as it seemed quite thin, especially compared to the thick jute ropes I use in my homemade cat tree. 5+ months of regular scratching and it's still going strong. So full marks to the first one. Second one I bought a couple days back is a different story. As soon as I started assembling, heard some clicking sounds, as if there was something loose inside the top pole. After the fitting, it kept tilting and will eventually go free. I thought of returning the product but decided to keep it and fix myself whenever that day comes. I also don't use WhatsApp which sellers always request to use these days. Amazon's inbuilt messaging is so much better. Overall, my cat is enjoying the product a lot more than scratch mats, so I am satisfied. Videos show neighbor's orange tabby who, as soon as I installed the tree, got to it before Duggi could! P.S., none of the 2 trees I purchased had the detachable dangle toy.

Small for my cat and it can’t scratch on the synthetic rope :( Trying to return but it is only showing replace option.

Large base makes it sturdy, plus the cat gets to stand on it directly so less likely to tip over. The jute rope is not the best but is good enough for my sister's cat. And very cheap and pretty large compared to other options. Only issue you have to assemble it yourself, make sure you tighten it well.

He comprado muchos rascadores y me han regalado otros tantos. Este es sin duda el mejor con diferencia que tengo. Es muy alto y para gatos ya adultos es maravilloso. No se ha deshecho (como el resto) y lo usan muchísimo.

Basic cat scratcher, cat uses it, serves it's purpose. Was easy to assemble, has so far lasted over a year!

Maintenance: Too early to comment on long-term cleaning needs after just a week, but the materials appear straightforward to maintain. The sisal surface doesn't seem to trap debris, and any loose fur brushes off easily. Cat Approval: My Russian Blue took to it immediately - no coaxing needed. The height (80cm) is perfect for a full stretch, which seems to be exactly what she was looking for. The dangling toy was a nice bonus that keeps her engaged. Value: For an Amazon Basics product, this punches above its weight class. I've seen similar posts at pet stores for significantly more money that don't feel as solid.
