Polarized Men's and Women's Mavericks Aviator Sunglasses

I got these for my husband for Father's Day. He was jealous that I had gotten new (rx) aviator sunglasses and he had mentioned liking a pair of "blue-lensed Michael Kors aviators and a pair of Maui Jims". The MKs were not polarized, so I dismissed them immediately. I had to guess which style of MJ he'd like, and these looked like the most classic aviator style, plus came with the Blue Hawaii coating. I did find them a lot cheaper on eBay and even from some new retailers here on Amazon, but felt more comfortable buying them from an authorized dealer, as even $135 is a lot to spend on potentially counterfeit sunglasses (and who wants to give counterfeit stuff as a gift?!). He absolutely loves them. They're his first pair of nice sunglasses (he has a couple of good quality polarized ones that we picked up in Bermuda, but they're sporty...like for golf). They feel SUPER light and fit him perfectly. They even fit me pretty well and I'm hard to fit because I have a short temple. The blue coating looks really awesome, though the change it causes in the coloring of your surroundings does take some getting used to he said. I love the aviators I just got my rx put into, but now I kinda want a pair of these myself....I'm a little jealous of the Blue Hawaii lenses and they really do look unisex. Sometimes unisex styles lean one way or another, but these look equally good on him and me.

Great sunglass, great fit and make colors really pop. Wife has the polarized Ray Ban aviators and she prefers these and says they are more comfortable and lighter feeling on the nose.

Maui Jim glasses are amazing! I have owned several pairs- they do a great job of sun block, while making colors so vivid with them at the same time! Highly recommend! True to fit, fairly durable and the company will swap out lenses for a reduced fee. Great company

I've owned Maui Jim's for many years and been very happy. However, over the last couple years, I started buying some less expensive alternatives (e.g., Rayban, Revo). They were all good sunglasses and I was happy with them. But I saw the Maui Jim Mavericks on Amazon. They were the look I wanted and I knew they would be quality. So, I ordered and, of course, it was Amazon so sunglasses received on time with no damage. I started wearing them and I knew why I had loved Maui Jim's so much. They are SO comfortable. I can wear them all day long and into evening and they are as comfortable at end of day as at the beginning. The lenses are gradient, so I can read a book or the instruments in the car, even when in heavy sunlight. They provide perfect color view, as well. I couldn't be happier. They are worth every penny.... I just have to be careful not to lose them.... it would just be too sad.

This is my second pair of Maui Jim's. I was referred by a friend and I love the build quality and visual clarity. My first Maui broke in the middle so I opted for a more robust frame. These shades are lighter than they look, I honestly thought because of the metal they would be heavier. That might be a deal breaker for some, I myself might have preferred a little more weight. The shades themselves could screen out a little more light but I like them. I did have to get them slightly adjusted so that they fit.

Oh, how I love Maui. Let me count the ways,... As I was opening these that I ordered, a customer rep from Maui was calling to tell me that the two pairs I mailed in for repair were getting a complete overhaul! I was getting new frames, lenses, & nose pads on my Mahinas and my Twin Falls were getting new temples, lenses, and nose pads for the price of replacing the lenses. I know people have negative response, but since 2007, I can not help but rave how awesome their products are and service is beyond amazing. It's always worth it purchasing from this company, they truly stand behind their product. I'd definitely purchase another pair from this company, no matter what they'll warranty their work. Love!! These Mavericks are beautiful, I love the new lightweight titanium frames and beautiful blue lenses. Perfect fit as well, I bet my husband will try to steal them

These are my favourite sunglasses ever! I bought a pair on Waikiki beach about 10 years ago and wore them all the time. I lost them so this is my second pair. Almost every pair of sunglasses gives me a headache and these ones I barely notice I’m wearing. I have Ray bans in the same style and I prefer my Maui jims!
