Before this new set I'd always used the normal black rubber / plastic cooking utensils. After cooking breakfast in one of the new pans I saw that my black spatula was MELTING in the pan and in MY FOOD! God only knows how long I'd been eating burnt plastic when I was using the gray/ black teflon pans and not been able to see what was happening. I ordered this utensil set after researching the temperature allowances. I have to say that this utensil set is a great quality. They are more supstantial in weight than I would have thought. They feel nice in the hand and they do a great job! It's the only set I use now. My plastic ones were starting to melt and not look so good (also non good for my health). These are great. They don’t stick and they don’t melt. I’m going to switch all of my plastic things to silicone. They are cool to the touch when you cook with them (unlike steel utensils). All the utensils are ones that you will use on a daily basis, there are no weird filler utensils.
