Waterproof in both directions? Then tell us!
The bag is robust and waterproof so will meet the needs of most users. However, the bag is waterproof both in the outside AND the inside. This means that adding water into the bag will mean your possessions are permanently wet. So if you fill the bag with water make sure the stuff you put in is waterproof and be aware that the items will still be wet when you remove them. Still five stars as most users will be aware of this but the vendor really should make this clear in their technical documentation.

Work well as pannier inserts
After realising my more than 10-year-old Altura panniers were finally not quite so waterproof as when I got them, I searched around and found these. The 20 litre size is perfect for the inside of a large pannier (56litre pair) and easy to use - so far has kept everything dry in some pretty heavy rain on my commute. Very good price and recommended.

NOT WATERPROOF......
NOT waterproof and very poor quality! Received it and looked very thin and poor quality. Decided to test it by putting my hand in it and then into a bowl of water.....funny old thing, my hand was soaking! Sent it straight back.

Waterproof, thin, vibrant colour, but pricey
Arrived quickly. 20 litre bag purchased. Based on the price paid I was expecting something a bit thicker. The material is as the picture - notice you can see through to the tile grout on the floor. It is a lightweight, thin, light raincoat type material. Colour is a vibrant orange as advertised. I soaked it to test if it is waterproof - seems to be; water runs right off. Can't comment if it's waterproof when closed at top. Stitching looks ok. Overall I have to give this bag a 3 as I feel it's overpriced for what you were getting.

Not waterproof! Waste of money.
Thought I would test this before using in anger out kayaking and paddleboarding!I placed plenty of scrunched up kitchen roll inside and folded over the top 4-5 times clipped it. Placed it into the kitchen sink that had water in, 15 mins later I came bag it was still floating (great) I opened it up with dry hands and the kitchen roll was absolutely soaking and inside the bag was really wet. This waterproof bag is a complete waste of money!I bought the 2L and the 5L and both are going back.

Very good quality bag for accessible price
Really good tough bag that gives you that little extra comparing to the cheapest on the market. Had some lower quality ones before and they ripped after first use. Nothing like it with this one. Robust material and good quality clip locking. Re-packed some camping stuff in to these bags (tent and sleeping bag) to reduce the volume, plus another one used as a backpack liner to keep stuff dry, and they worked a dream keeping all of the water away even in a heavier downpour. Worth spending money on.

Not waterproof.
We capsized on a kayak trip. For about 30 sec the bag was underwater. We found most thing inside very damp upon our return home 1 hour later. The rolling seam didn't leak, but the material did.

I got a big one
it works at keeping things dry, I use it for my bedding, I work away a lot and take a spare set of bedding with me, I know it will keep it dry and can use it for storing the stuff in the loft when not in use, I am concerned about its durability, I've not had any tears yet but it does seem a little flimsy, but it didn't cost very much so no problem really
