Love Hot Tools!
I've had one of these 2 inch curling irons on and off over the years. When my last one quit, I was happy to find a replacement on Amazon. I didn't want the 'extended' barrel, so was glad this model was available. A little pricier than they used to be, but worth it.

Bueno... pero
Es un producto bueno y hace lindas ondas, pero quisiera que calentara mas. Al no tener tanta potencia, me demoro mas haciéndome las ondas.

Curls hard to curl hair!
I have straight, thick, hard to curl hair. This curling iron actually curls my hair! Highly recommend!

Creates long loose waves
Large barrel curling iron creates loose waves on long hair. This curling iron may be too large if you have a lob or bob, it's big!For my long hair it made exactly the waves I have been trying to achieve. It has a number of heat setting and because my hair is very thick and course I actually have to set it on 400+ to get it work. The lower settings weren't enough heat to keep the wave.To get this look I sectioned my hair first.I then clamped my hair 3/4 of the way up and smoother it down to the end, turned it under and rolled it up to the top. I held it for about 6-10 seconds. Super quick and easy! You could also just wrap your hair around the barrel (instead of clamping it) for a different type of wave. You will need to hold that for a little longer to get a deeper wave. You do need pretty long hair to get this look with this iron. The barrel is really smooth and does not pull or feel like you are ripping your hair out like sometimes can happen with other materials.

Good, Not Perfect
I like this curling iron enough to keep it, but there is one rather annoying con. The pros are that it heats up fast, has a dial to adjust the heat settings, auto and auto shut off which are all features I look for when purchasing a curling iron. I'm not sure it is any less damaging than any other heat styling tool, but I have curly hair and only use this for the wonky ones, so I leave it in long enough to roll it up to the top and pull it out.The annoying part is that the part at the bottom that holds the hair doesn't always hold it tight enough to roll it up to the top without the hair falling out. It doesn't do it all the time - and it's usually when I have a smaller piece of hair to curl, but it does bother me. I have longer hair (a few inches past my shoulders - not quite middle of my back) and in order to get the hair to stay in, I have to start the curl a little higher to ensure the iron will keep it in place, but that also means that I sometimes have to do the curl in two parts. If the barrel was longer and the clip was a little bit tighter, this would be pretty close to perfect.
