Future Engineer (Future Baby)

My husband is an engineer so this was a must-have for our little one! A great way to explain what daddy does at work at such a young age!Love the colors, and overall theme of the book!Board book quality was good! To be expected to have a little corner damage from shipping but was minimal!

Got this for my niece who is half black and half Mexican! This book is very empowering for kids at that age especially when they see a child of color that is similar to them engage in areas of STEM. She loves going through it and it’s definitely building the engagement and eagerness to learn in areas of STEM.

{My thoughts} – Engineers and Baby’s have a lot in common. Engineers like to solve problems and figure out how things work. Baby’s like to do that too, just not in the same way. You never know what exploring a baby does could turn into a future engineer.This book is nicely colored and eye appealing for children. It it simply written and easy for young ones to understand. I really enjoy reading through these types of books. They help to show children that they can be anything should they choose to. Which I think is really neat, I think it’s important to show children at a young age that they have options and potential and that anything is possible. It also helps to aid in building their imaginations!

My baby absolutely loves all of these books! So cute, with beautiful art and a fun story. I'm hoping the author comes out with more "Future ____ " books to add to the series.

I gave this book to a co-worker. H e said his two young daughters (ages 4.5 and 3) loved it. They now want to be scientists and engineers. I expect his 1.5 year old son and soon to be born fourth child will enjoy it too.

Magical! Allison Black illustrations are so cute and colorful. Lori Alexander’s writing is fun and challenging. A parent always searches for those special books that will stir their child’s imagination along with theirs! This is that series.

Perfect gift for my granddaughter whose dad is an engineer.

Thrilled this series includes POC and women in typically portrayed white male roles. Toddler loves to compare themselves to the things baby does and what the adults do. Glad to read this book over and over with the toddler.
