Windshield Auto Glass Universal Molding Flexible Trim Rubber 19mm 15 FT UM1913BR

I have a 2003 saturn vue and noticed the rubber front windshield rubber gasket has shrunk and leaving a 2 inch gap between the car frame and window. Took a detailed magnified picture of gasket configuration then searched Amazon until I finally found what I was looking for: Flexline Windshield Auto Glass Universal Molding Flexible Trim Rubber 19mm 15 FT UM1913BR. I may have not read all of the product descriptions because the trim already had the black guey sticky stuff in the alignment recess: didn't know it until I put my finger there: make sure you have some "Goo Gone" from the Dollar Store. Anyway, it fits perfectly: measured entire length of top trim, cut to length + 1/4 in longer to ensure tight fit. Installed in a jiff and still have about 11 ft left. I highly recommend this product.

It's as described. The gap is 1/4" and has some butyl in it to help stick.

It came out great ! I like the line down the middle it makes it look more of an OEM look . The stock windshield molding from nissan was 600 plus’s! This worked just as good !

tried to install on the windshield of the car , did no stayed on , easy to maneuver but lip is too small and keeps coming off the glass

I intended only to replace the weatherstripping without removing the windshield. This method can work as long as the windshield is the original factory. My windshield was replaced years ago, but the weatherstripping was rotted out. I found it very difficult to slip the windshield edges into the grooves of the stripping. My drivers and passengers side was not that difficult, but the roof area was near impossible even with lubricant sprays. Once I got the stripping seated, the edges were not flush with the body or the window. I think this product would better if the outside part had a light adhesive to make it flush. The inside channel that wraps around the edges of the glass has a greyish adhesive, but not the outside. For fear of water intrusion and rust, I sealed the edges with silicone sealant. Overall, only buy if you intend to remove the glass first.
