So far so good
I bought this product for use at home to shred bank statements, billing statements, etc. I used it twice without any problems. On the third time using it, it broke and will turn on any longer. I followed all the instructions and did not over load it or overheat it when using it the other two times. It appears to me to be just a cheaply made product not built to last. I would not recommend this product to others. UPDATE: So, apparently, my toddler switched off the surge protector this device is attached to. It works again, and it works very well.

Great shredder.
Works perfectly. The receptacle could have been larger. However, it is so easy to use that I don't have to store up a large volume of papers to be shredded, but can plug it in and shred only a few things at a time.

Great product. I have had for over 1 year and no issues. Just to make sure I occasionally put oil on the papers I am shredding. I have only used it for paper with staples. Sits in a corner - no issues.

Spend a little more on one that won’t clog
I bought this to use at my business so it gets used frequently. It works great but it clogs really bad in one corner and we have to dig it out with a flat head about once a week. Upon inspection it looks like one of the plastic parts underneath broke off therefore causing the paper to jam up on one side and get too thick to clear.

Works well for me
I've had this shredder for a month or so now, and I'm very happy with the purchase. My previous shredder jammed frequently, and I've had no such problems with this. The receptacle could be bigger, of course, but for a family of 3 with the normal amount of bills, bank statements, and the like, it is just fine. Some reviewers have commented on the noise level or the weight of the unit's top (which has to be removed to toss the shreds), but I don't find either especially problematic.
