We needed an affordable way to cover a lot of windows, some of them awkwardly situated in the room. Vertical blinds seemed the most practical and economical. The dark color of the blinds complements the age of the home and the woodwork.We installed most of the blinds in less than 30 minutes. One window took considerably longer because there were screws and nails that needed to be removed, in addition to metal underneath the wood in the frame. The windows in our place are over 120 years old, so there were bound to be fun little surprises once we started drilling.You'll need an electric drill and a Phillips screwdriver (although a flathead will work in a pinch). We used 1/8" and 9/64" drill bits.You can top mount, side mount or back mount these blinds. You can also use different mounts in the same window as long as they're level. We, for example, used a top mount and a side mount for one of our windows due to some complications.The side mounts take 4 screws and the top mounts take 2 screws, but the side mounts are very stable with fewer than 4. We had to use 2 on one of the side mounts and there haven't been any problems.You don't need to purchase any additional hardware. Everything you need comes in the box.I photographed the blinds up close. As you can see, they are faux wood in style, not solid brown.They raise and lower easily and block out a considerable amount of light. They seem very sturdy for vinyl blinds. And while they are not very expensive, I think they're attractive.This is a great product at a great price. I highly recommend it.

I ordered a pair of these blinds for when I remodeled my home office. My wife and I may move to a new house within the next few years so I didn't want to spend hundreds on new blinds in a room I may not be in that long. I wasn't expecting much at this price point but needed something that matched the dark walnut desk I recently built for the same room. These were easy to hang, arrived quickly and came with nice features. They included cord cleats, different mounting hardware options, etc. I could not have been more impressed at the final look of these, especially of what they cost. My wife liked them so much that she wants them in all of the bedrooms immediately. I highly recommend these faux wood blinds! The slats are nice and wide and the color is a beautiful deep brown. When fully closed they almost completely block the window light which is what I was looking for. Awesome purchase that I would buy again and again!

I was prepared for something super cheap and ugly with that high octane plastic stench that so often accompanies just about anything labeled "faux". To my pleasant surprise I opened boxes that contained surprisingly believable dark coffee "wood grain" colored blinds in perfect condition along with all of the necessary components to install the blinds in a few different ways. Clearly printed, easy to understand instructions were included but happily unnecessary as installation was pretty obvious and completed with minimal tools. Yay! 1000% improvement from the hideous off grey plasti-metal mini-blinds they replaced. Nicely done Amazon Prime.

Very, very satisfied with these blinds. Heavy construction, sturdy stamped steel brackets, and a beautiful look. We love the wider slats and wood look!**TIP**--- Take the included mounting screws and whip them into the closest trash can. For just about a dollar, you can by good quality stainless screws. This will save you time & aggravation.Nothing to effect our 5 star rating, as I know where the company is coming from using the cheaper screws to keep their costs down.

When I say that I love these, I really do. The only downfall is the fact that these only draw strings on one side. For some reason the left side string never worked (doesn't move), and I tried everything. I dont want to break anything, so I just installed everything. I figure that twisting the blinds open will have to suffice. I hate dealing with returns and the re-installation would involve a whole new window frame because of the already drilled holes. Again, it looks great though. 3 stars!

I gave originally gave 4 stars because the screws that come with the blinds are junk. The blinds and hardware for it are superb, but the screw heads are too soft and the least little bit will strip them. I swapped them out for regular wood screws and they worked out very well!!! Well, I pumped it down to 3 because the top piece that goes on front was cracked on 2-3 of the blinds I ordered. One of the blinds they sent me did not have any mounting hardware in it, but they quickly resolved it and are sending me a replacement. Overall, great quality.

Awesome fast shipping well made and great looking blinds. These blinds are great for blocking light there may be better but these are enough for me because I have worked third shift for many years. These blinds really are good looking blinds my wife and I both agree. They raise up AND GO DOWN PERFECTLY unlike a lot of blinds I have used in the past. The blind tilt rod works very smoothly also. I will definitely recommend this brand to friends and family.

Honestly I was expecting better quality from Bali. Recently we purchased all the blinds for the downstairs of our home from Lowe's (Allen and Roth) which is supposedly lower end than Bali... But the Bali blinds feel and look a great deal cheaper Even though they were $3 more. Overall I like the textured wood look and we are just using them in our bedroom, so it's not too big of a deal, seeing as they will behind curtains most of the time. But, just my .02
